CSO's RHAPSODY IN BLUE Concludes American Roots Festival This Weekend

Led by guest conductor Donato Cabrera and featuring guest pianist Thomas Lauderdale of Pink Martini, this concert offers not only Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, the all-time classic synthesis of Carnegie Hall and Tin Pan Alley, but two more pieces with similar flavors from Gershwin's fellow American, George Antheil.

Biola University Theatre's CAMELOT Begins Tonight

?For the first time in many years, Biola's Music and Theatre departments have joined together to produce an award-winning classic of musical theatre, Camelot, tonight, Feb. 6-15.

UK Tour of English Touring Theatre & RSC's A MAD WORLD MY MASTERS Sets Full Cast

Following a critically acclaimed run in Stratford in 2013, the Royal Shakespeare Company and English Touring Theatre's production of Thomas Middleton's A Mad World My Masters returns in 2015 for an eight venue national tour to Wolverhampton Grand Theatre (26 - 28 February), Grand Theatre Blackpool (5 - 7 March), Theatre Royal Brighton (10 - 14 March), Malvern Theatres (24 - 28 March), Hall for Cornwall (31 March - 4 April), Theatre Royal Bath (7 - 11 April), Darlington Civic Theatre (14 - 18 April), and Cambridge Arts Theatre (21 - 25 April), before a limited run at the Barbican (29 April - 9 May).

2015 FTP Film Festival Comes to Segal Center This Weekend

The FTP (Film Theatre Performance) Festival will be an annual US event for films that deal directly with the themes of theatre and performance. The mission is to present experimental, emerging, and established theatre artists and filmmakers to audiences and industry professionals from around the world. The festival program includes feature films, short films, documentaries, advance screenings, meet-the-filmmaker Q&A sessions, and panels with leading artists in the field.

SPANK! THE FIFTY SHADES PARODY to Play Southern Theatre, 2/9

This whip-smart comedy takes on the naughty fun of the best-selling book and highly-anticipated movie and brings it to outrageous life with musical numbers, steamy performances highlighting the famous hunk and his grey tie, and lots of hilarious surprises. Jim Brickman Celebrates the Holiday Season at Southern Theatre Tonight

An 18-year tradition from coast to coast, Jim Brickman brings the sounds of the holiday season to Columbus with his one-of-a-kind concert event, On a Winter's Night. Along with featured musical guests, Brickman will perform new music, holiday favorites, and the hits that made him Billboard's most charted (30) Adult Contemporary artist including 'Valentine,' 'If You Believe,' 'The Gift,' 'Angel Eyes,' and 'Sending You A Little Christmas.'

Barbara Rosenblat to Perform THE SEARCH FOR SIGNS OF INTELLIGENT LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE at Chain Theatre

The brilliant actress BARBARA ROSENBLAT (Miss Rosa in Orange Is the New Black) stars in the poignant, sharp, and laugh-out-loud funny play by Jane Wagner, THE SEARCH FOR SIGNS OF INTELLIGENT LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE. Led by guest conductor Vladimir Kulenovic, the program will feature guest violinist Liza Ferschtman and the CSO's principal bassoonist Betsy Sturdevant.
