The Acting Company's sleek, accessible, and characteristically bloody production of Shakespeare's Macbeth is the perfect production for first timers as well as Shakespeare buffs. One of his darkest and most powerful tragedies, Shakespeare focuses a laser-like intensity on the disintegrating mental state of the murderous king and the psychological and political impact of his ambition for power. The supernatural also plays a central role in this historically based tragedy that is thrillingly direct in its stark demonstration of the corrupting power of evil.

CAPA presents The Acting Company in Shakespeare's Macbeth at the Southern Theatre (21 E. Main St.) on Wednesday, March 11, at 8 pm. Tickets are $25 and $35 at the CAPA Ticket Center (39 E. State St.), all Ticketmaster outlets, and www.ticketmaster.com. To purchase tickets by phone, please call (614) 469-0939 or (800) 745-3000.
