THE NEW YORK CITY GAY MEN'S CHORUS launched its 29th season with a time-honored New York tradition: under the Artistic Direction of Charles Beale, NYCGMC presented The New York City Gay Men's Chorus Holiday Spectacular 'Celebrate Me Home' at Carnegie Hall on Tuesday December 9th. 'Dreamgirls' is the rags-to-riches story following an all-girl singing trio from Chicago called The Dreamettes (in later years they are called The Dreams.) The story of the Dreams is partially inspired by the real-life Motown group the Supremes, before they became known as Diana Ross And The Supremes.
