The Royal Shakespeare Company's multi-award-winning production of Matilda The Musical is now booking through to 26 May 2024 with tickets for the new dates now on sale.

The award-winning, critically acclaimed production of Martin Sherman’s Rose transfers to the Ambassador’s Theatre for 28 performances, from Tuesday 23rd of May after sell-out runs at Hope Mill Theatre, Manchester, and The Park Theatre, London once again starring Maureen Lipman.

The Tony Award-winning Alley Theatre is a recipient of a 20,000 NEA Grant for Arts Projects. This month, the grant will support the launch of a new initiative that culminates during Afro-Caribbean poet and Nobel Laureate Derek Walcott's, The Odyssey. Heroes Within: A Celebration of Victorious Journeys, is a project connecting the Epic play's hero's journey to the heroic experiences pertinent to Houston's Black community.

Yale Repertory Theatre will start the second half of its 2022–23 season with Mojada: A Medea in Los Angeles by Luis Alfaro, directed by Laurie Woolery, March 10–April 1 at the University Theatre.

For the second year running, Big Night Of Musicals will be staged by The National Lottery at the AO Arena Manchester on Monday 27 February, bringing together the biggest shows from the world of theatre for a spectacular celebration.

Theatre for a New Audience  presents EXPERIMENTAL WORKSHOPS/EXPLORING THE HISTORIES.  Performances run January 26-February 5, 2023.

After the huge success of its first musicals extravaganza last year, on Monday 27th February The National Lottery is once again bringing together the biggest shows from the world of theatre for a spectacular celebration of musicals. 

The Acting Company has announced the cast for their reading of The Misanthrope. Molière's classic play is translated by Neil Bartlett and directed by The Acting Company's Producing Director Devin Brain.

With more frequency, we are starting to see alliances of theaters come together across different regions to create a stronger entity. And that isn’t a surprising development. Given the rising costs within the industry, collaboration continues to be one of the best ways to keep those costs down.

ADAPTION is the theme for the 26th Season at DreamWrights Center for Community Arts located in York, PA. Many of the titles featured have seen many versions of these stories adapted from page to stage to screen and back again.

Matilda The Musical comes to Sleepy Hollow Summer Theater in July. Performances run July 27-August 5, 2023. Auditions will be held  April 7, 8 & 9.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG) has announced the publication of Tip of the Tongue: Reflections on Language and Meaning by Peter Brook. TCG will publish the U.S. edition of this title, which was originally published in the U.K. in 2017 by our Partner Publisher Nick Hern Books. 

TheatreSquared has been awarded the highly competitive 2023 American Institute of Architects (AIA) NY Design Merit Award, an annual juried competition by the Institute’s oldest chapter, considering all architectural design recently built in New York City and by New York City-based architects around the world.

WQXR has announced its 2023 roster of Artist Propulsion Lab (APL) participants. The APL is the station's innovative program designed to support classical music artists in the creation of original work and in connecting with new audiences. 

Writers behind some of the most critically acclaimed works over the last year were honoured at the Writers' Guild of Great Britain Awards 2023 ceremony, including Aamina Ahmad, David Edgar, Vivienne Franzmann, Rebecca Hall, Katie Hims, Adam Kay, Neil McKay, and Ben Power.

Banff Centre has announced that the Board of Governors has appointed Chris Lorway as the 8th President and CEO in its 90 year history. Lorway takes the reins effective April 10th, 2023.
