Trybe House Theatre Announced As Associate Company

Trybe House Theatre is now an Associate Company at the Royal Court Theatre; the partnership began in August 2021 and will run until July 2024. Throughout the partnership, the Royal Court will support Trybe House Theatre in delivering their vision to artistically engage young black men in theatre and create work that is reflective of their reality and celebrates identity.  

Cast Announced For BROKEN LAD at Arcola Theatre

Casting is today announced for the world première of Robin Hooper's new drama 'Broken Lad', a comic and moving examination of masculinity in distress, directed by Richard Speir. It is Arcola Theatre's second production at their new venue, Arcola Outside.

A new entertainment company, Second Half Productions, has been launched today by Jeremy Herrin, Alan Stacey and Rob O'Rahilly. It will bring together world-leading artists to create innovative work for both stage and screen.

Stockard Channing and Rebecca Night Will Star in 'NIGHT, MOTHER at Hampstead Theatre

Stockard Channing and Rebecca Night will perform in the Pulitzer Prize-winning 'night, Mother by Marsha Norman.  This astonishing play, which had its UK premiere at Hampstead Theatre in 1985, will be directed by the theatre's Artistic Director, Roxana Silbert.  'night, Mother will run from 22 October until 4 December 2021.

THE BALLAD OF A VIRGIN WHO CAN'T DRIVE Wins Soho Theatre's Overheard Podcast Competition With NBCUniversal International Studios and StoryHunter

Leveraging its existing partnership with short form video and audio content company, StoryHunter, the studio developed a new initiative with Soho Theatre entitled OVERHEARD.  Open exclusively to the theatre's Writers' Lab Alumni 2019/20 only, the podcast competition saw entrants tasked with developing an idea for a fictional podcast, with a view to produce and release a pilot this autumn.

THE INTERROGATION Will Be Performed by Access All Areas Theatre Company

Starting at Greenwich+Docklands International Festival (GDIF) on Sunday 29 August and returning to London where it will be simultaneously running at Battersea Arts Centre and Rich Mix from Tuesday 28 September until the tour concludes on Sunday 3 October.

Live Theatre Resumes At The Finborough Theatre Next Month With NOT QUITE JERUSALEM

In a production commissioned by the Finborough Theatre to celebrate its 40th anniversary with a play written in the year the Finborough Theatre opened, the first new UK production in 40 years of Paul Kember's award-winning 1980 comedy-drama Not Quite Jerusalem opens at the Finborough Theatre for a two week limited season on Tuesday, 14 September 2021.
