terraNOVA Collective and The Playground Theater, in association with the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, are pleased to announce the world premiere of DON CHIPOTLE by Juan Francisco Villa (Empanada for a Dream), directed by Jo Cattell. A new Latino superhero is born in this epic coming-of-age adventure, told through theatre, puppetry, animation, music and a children's choir. DON CHIPOTLE will play August 25 - September 27, 2015 at the Storefront Theater, 66 E. Randolph St. in Chicago. 

The Public Theatre's Professional Theatre Training Program for Teens will perform How to Act Like a Child, an assortment of hip and entertaining stories with added songs tonight, July 24th at 6pm.

 The Riant Theatre will kick off the  Strawberry One-Act Festival with a launch party and reception  presenting Pioneer of the Arts Awards honoring  Liesl Tommy, Obie winning director from South Africa, and Peter Anthony Andrews, the first African American TV network entertainment vice president, on Sunday, July 26 at the Poet's Den Theatre, 309 East 108th Street from 3:00pm - 7:00pm.  Tickets for the event are $50.

CTC veteran Debra Jo Rupp returns to CTC in this moving story about the complex issues raised by international child adoption. Performances will run from July 29-August 9.
