Atticus Finch might be the voice we remember from To Kill a Mockingbird- the classic story that Aaron Sorkin brought to Broadway this season- but Adam Guettel is the man who made Mockingbird sing. The Broadway composer traded musical theatre for drama this season as he created the score for the critically-praised hit. Below, Guettel tells us all about how he found the sound of the play, and shares an exclusive clip from the To Kill a Mockingbird score.

Heritage Theatre Festival at The University of Virginia has announced the appointment of Jen Rogers as Managing Director. Rogers, a highly-successful arts management professional, comes to Heritage from PlayMakers Repertory Company, the professional theatre at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where she worked as General Manager in partnership with Jenny Wales, who is now entering her second season as HTF Artistic Director.

In this one-night-only event, three of New York City's most in-demand music directors will reinterpret and honor the extraordinary artists Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. Before they joined Fleetwood Mac, the dynamic duo released one masterpiece self-titled album. Soon after, their luscious hit songs ( Rhiannon, Monday Morning, Landslide, and Don't Let Me Down Again ) were in heavy radio rotation. The seventh annual In Scena! Italian Theater Festival NY will kick off on Monday, April 29 at 7pm at Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marim at NYU (24 West 12th Street, New York, NY 10011) with the Opening Night Rainbow Jubilee, an international celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising.

On May 13, the OBIE-winning HERE will honor MacArthur fellow Taylor Mac and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation ArtsProgram at BLOOM, HERE's annual spring gala. Baltimore Center Stage is excited to announce two additions to its leadership team and artistic staff. Chiara Klein has been appointed Director of Artistic Producing and will join Center Stage from New York's Public Theater. Adena Varner has been promoted to Director of Learning and Social Accountability.

According to the New York Times, Sea Wall / A LIFE, written by Simon Stephens and Nick Payne respectively and directed by Carrie Cracknell, will transfer to Broadway next season. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Tom Sturridge, it will begin performances on July 26 and will open on August 8. The limited engagement will conclude on September 29.
