The Phoenix Theatre of Indianapolis announces the return of The Zippers of Zoomerville, or 200 Laps and a Lass: a mini-mockeretta from April 28 through May 28, 2011 in the Frank & Katrina Basile Theatre. The book and lyrics are by Jack O'Hara, and the music is by Jack O'Hara and Tim Brickley.

World Premiere At Florida Stage THE CHA-CHA OF A CAMEL SPIDER

The final play of Florida Stage's 24th subscription season is the world premiere of a darkly funny, electric and timely new play by Carter W. Lewis, The Cha-Cha of a Camel Spider. From the award-winning author of The Storytelling Ability of a Boy and Women Who Steal, The Cha-Cha of a Camel Spider asks the questions, what happens when our 'soldiers of fortune' outnumber our army troops and can art really make a difference in a corporatized world? The Cha-Cha of a Camel Spider continues Florida Stage's first season as the resident company in the Rinker Playhouse at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.

2011 Playwrights at Playpenn Conference in Philadelphia in July

PlayPenn, Philadelphia's professional new play development organization, will hold its seventh annual New Play Development Conference from July 8 - July 24 at both the Adrienne Theater and the Playground (2030 Sansom Street) in Philadelphia. The Conference will feature two weeks of intensive work on six works-in-progress by Lisa Dillman (American Wee-Pie); Jacqueline Goldfinger (Slip/Shot); Brian Quirk (Nerine); Lauren Yee (A Man, His Wife and His Hat); John Yearley (Another Girl); and Stefanie Zadravec (The Electric Baby).

The Phoenix Theatre of Indianapolis announces the Midwest Premiere of The Storytelling Ability of a Boy, by Carter W. Lewis, opening Thursday, March 3, 2011 in the Frank and Katrina Basile Theatre and playing through Sunday, March 27, 2011.

Full Cast Announced for A DELICATE BALANCE at Almeida Theatre

Lucy Cohu (Julia), Diana Hardcastle (Edna), Ian McElhinney (Harry), Imelda Staunton (Claire) and Tim Pigott-Smith (Tobias) will join the previously announced Penelope Wilton (Agnes) in Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance, directed by James Macdonald which will run at the Almeida Theatre from 5 May - 2 July, with press night on 12 May 2011. A Delicate Balance will be designed by Laura Hopkins with lighting by Guy Hoare and sound by Ian Dickinson.
