It's Saturday, and that means it's time for BroadwayWorld's 'Saturday Intermission Pics' round-up! NBC will celebrate the lighting of the world's most famous Christmas tree with a live broadcast from Rockefeller Center in New York City on Wednesday, November 28 (8-9 p.m. ET). The star-studded holiday special will feature performances from Trace Adkins, Mariah Carey, CeeLo Green (NBC's 'The Voice'), Victoria Justice, Chris Mann, Rod Stewart and Il Volo, and special appearances by Billy Crystal and Bette Milder.

Entertainment superstar Liza Minnelli - winner of an Oscar, two Golden Globes, a Grammy, an Emmy and multiple Tony Awards - will guest-star as herself in NBC's musical drama SMASH in the upcoming season, and will sing an original song with series star Christian Borle that was written by the show's celebrated composer and lyricists Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.

This holiday season, NBC and WWE will once again honor the United States Armed Forces with "WWE Tribute to the Troops" presented by Slim Jim. The annual extravaganza will air on NBC as a one-hour television special on Saturday, December 22 at 9 p.m. ET.

WWE (NYSE:WWE), USA Network and NBC will honor the United States Armed Forces with its 10th annual holiday special, WWE Tribute to the Troops presented by Slim Jim. The 10th anniversary holiday extravaganza will air as a two-hour television special on Wednesday, December 19 at 9/8C on USA Network and as a one-hour television special on Saturday, December 22 at 9/8C on NBC.

This year's MACY'S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE will feature performances from Broadway's best musicals, including "Annie," "Bring It On," Rodgers + Hammerstein's "Cinderella," "Elf" and "Nice Work If You Can Get It." In addition, the world-famous Radio City Rockettes® will join the presentation to help kick-off the holidays.

Dubbed "The Red Book," it is the subject of a popular blog maintained by Karen Falk, Archivist for The Jim Henson Company (www.henson.com/jimsredbook). Now this diary is the subject of a new book by Falk, Imagination Illustrated: The Jim Henson Journal (2012, Chronicle Books), featuring excerpts from Henson's journal, rare sketches, ideas, and photographs. Throughout, Falk offers behind-the-scenes details into Henson's writings and drawings, as well as insights into Henson's life, his magical creations, and his artistic process.

The Casting Society of America (CSA) winners were announced tonight of the 28th Annual Artios Awards® For Outstanding Achievement in Casting. Hosted by Nicole Sullivan, the award ceremony was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. In Los Angeles.

Given each year, in addition to the awards presented to casting directors for their achievements in Theatre, Television, and Film casting, the CSA also gave out the following special awards to Casting Director Lora Kennedy for the Hoyt Bowers Award given for excellence in casting; Harvey Fierstein received The New York Apple Award given to individual for contributions to the New York casting community and Ben Affleck, who received the Career Achievement Award.

Mr. Nelson passed away on August 23, 2012 at his home in Truro, Massachusetts.
