Aronoff Center Presents THE ULTIMATE DOO-WOP SHOW Tonight

The Ultimate Doo-Wop Show will play Aronoff Center's Procter & Gamble Hall tonight, November 16, 2012 at 8:00 PM. The family-friendly show will treat concertgoers to the songs they danced to at sock hops, while allowing younger audiences to discover that Doo-Wop is feel-good music no matter what your age.

Smokey has logged an incredible 37 Top 40 hits in his career. He wrote and produced hits for Motown greats including The Temptations, Mary Wells, Brenda Holloway, Marvin Gaye and others. "The Way You Do the Things You Do," "My Girl," "Get Ready," "You Beat Me to the Punch," "Don't Mess with Bill," "Ain't That Peculiar," and "My Guy" are just a few of his songwriting triumphs during those years.

THE ULTIMATE DOO-WOP SHOW and JIM BRICKMAN Launch CAA's 2012-13 Season

The Cincinnati Arts Association (CAA) has announced the first two shows of its 2012-13 Season: The Ultimate Doo-Wop Show on Friday, November 16 at 8:00 PM and Jim Brickman: On A Winter's Night on Sunday, December 30 at 2:00 PM. Both shows are at the Aronoff Center's Procter & Gamble Hall.

Broadway-Bound MOTOWN THE MUSICAL to Hold September Workshop

According to an Equity casting notice, MOTOWN The Musical, which is set to open on Broadway in the Spring of 2013, will hold a workshop September 10-30. The show is set to begin Broadway rehearsals in January, with previews set for March 11.

Building sharply on its lead-in in Total Viewers (+2.3 million) and Adults 25-54 (+31%), the series debut of ABC's NY MED shot up to rank No. 1 in its 10 o'clock time period.
