Join in the 2013 celebrations as Adelaide Festival Centre celebrates its 40th ruby anniversary and 100th anniversary for the grand old dame Her Majesty's Theatre with a year-long season of theatre, dance, music, festivals and party celebrations. The 2013 program boasts 240 performances and 71 individual shows with a number of panel discussions, exhibitions and of course some special anniversary events around these extraordinary milestones.

The intrepid Louisiana alligator hunters featured in the hit History series Swamp People don't have the monopoly on dangerous workplace conditions. They have kindred spirits in Australia's Northern Territory, where it takes a special mixture of courage and madness to hunt and trap monstrous crocodiles. OUTBACK HUNTERS, a new History series from the same production team behind Swamp People, takes viewers Down Under to an untamed frontier where crocs outnumber people three to one and it's never entirely clear who is the hunter and who is the hunted. The series premieres at 10 pm ET/PT Sunday, Oct. 21.

Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts announces the winter/spring confirmed performances to take place at The Barns at Wolf Trap, the first scheduled for tonight, October 4 at 8 pm. This year's season features international stars from a wide array of musical backgrounds and genres, including classical, jazz, folk, bluegrass, pop, rock, world music, and more. The 56 shows booked thus far include seven Barns debuts, a list that is sure to grow as additional announcements are made throughout the fall. Tickets are currently on sale to the general public.

GEMS Opens 5th Anniversary Celebration with Gala Concert Tonight, 10/4

Gotham Early Music Scene (GEMS), an organization that enriches public understanding and appreciation of early music in New York City, has played a major role in revitalizing the early music community since its founding in 2007. GEMS will be celebrating its milestone fifth anniversary this October through January, beginning with a gala concert and reception tonight, October 4, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at the New York Society for Ethical Culture, 2 West 64th Street, in Manhattan. Tickets are $40 for the concert alone, or $125 for the concert and reception.

Launching tonight, September 29th in Studio City, this night of incredible entertainment and comedy will introduce Brando Murphy, who is starring in a biopic on the life of superstar Eddie Murphy, and Mason Pryor, son of the legendary Richard Pryor, to the big stage. Murphy and Pryor are ready to plant their own flag with the 'Sons' brand, alongside several other performers with promises of a night full of big laughs.

GUTENBERG! THE MUSICAL Opens in the Rep's Stackner Cabaret Tonight, 8/26

Milwaukee Repertory Theater's 2012/13 Season kicks off with the wacky, award-winning musical comedy, Gutenberg! The Musical! The play is written by Scott Brown and Anthony King with original Music Direction and Arrangements by T. O. Sterrett. and will be directed by Rep Associate Artist Laura Gordon, who directed last season's delightful production of In the Next Room or the vibrator play. Gutenberg! The Musical! features comedic actor and Rep Associate Artist Gerard Neugent, former Milwaukee Rep Acting Intern Eric Damon Smith and frequent Rep collaborator Musical Director/Pianist Paul Helm. Gutenberg! The Musical runs in the Stackner Cabaret from August 24 - October 14, and opens tonight, August 26.
