The performance is raising funds for GTT's Broadway Performance Project and will unveil the "Nicole Fosse Scholarship".
The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute (www.strasberg.com) will present LOVELAB by playwright Lila Feinberg, who is the first recipient of The Clifford Odets Ensemble Play Commission. The Clifford Odets Ensemble Play Commission is an annual playwriting commission that encourages early career playwrights to write plays for large ensembles of emerging actors.

Early this Fall GTT board member, Nicole Fosse agreed to create a scholarship in her name giving more opportunities for performers to take part in the 2013 season of Broadway Performance Project.
To celebrate novelist and playwright Dawn Powell's birthday and the first ever NY revival of her play BIG NIGHT, the ReGroup Theatre is offering a special "DRESS REVERSAL" preview performance on Nov 28th- which would be Ms. Powell's 116 birthday.

Due to a delay in the start of technical rehearsals caused by last week's storm, Lincoln Center Theater has announced that its been forced to postpone previews, by one night, of its 75th Anniversary production of the Clifford Odets classic GOLDEN BOY, directed by Bartlett Sher. Previews will now begin this Friday, November 9 at 8pm, having been originally scheduled to begin Thursday, November 8. Opening night for GOLDEN BOY will remain as originally scheduled, on Thursday, December 6 at 6:45pm, at the Belasco Theatre (111 West 44 Street), the same theatre where the play premiered in 1937. Ticket holders to the November 8 performance should return their tickets to their point of purchase for a refund or exchange.
Called "the feel good show of the year", The Needemann Brothers bring their hilarious antics to New York City's premier cabaret theater, The Triad tonight, October 24th at 7pm. The production features never-before-seen material, and decades of popular song. The Needemann Brothers are a two-man musical comedy cabaret act from the west coast featuring Anthony Bollotta, and television, film actor, Jorge Luis Abreu. Musical direction and accompaniment is by off-Broadway composer Rayme Sciaroni, one of the song writers for Naked Boys Singing.

Now it's sixth year, the Canvas is a showcase opportunity for choreographers to present their work in an Off-Broadway venue in Manhattan. All styles of dance will be considered and featured in the Canvas including but not limited to tap, jazz, theatre dance, contemporary, hip-hop, modern, ballet, lyrical, aerial, flamenco, Bollywood, etc.
