&MEL & EL are about to make a pilgrimage to Washington, D.C. to march for LGBT equality... but first they gotta do a show! Fresh from their critically acclaimed Off-Broadway run at NYC's Ars Nova, MEL EL will be performing their new musical extravaganza, MEL & EL: GAY MARRIED, for one night only at Comix.

Award-winning NYC cabaret performer Hector Coris brings his debut solo show Life is Wonderful. at Don't Tell Mama (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788; www.donttellmamanyc.com). Show dates are Tuesday, September 8th @ 7:15PM and Sunday, October 11th @ 6:30PM.

The Triad Theatre (158 W. 72nd Street) will host Bawdy!, a raucous evening of Burlesque, Variety, Drag, and knock-your-socks-off production numbers. Hosted by the fishnet clad baritone Jesse Luttrell, Bawdy! will be held on October 1st from 9:00pm-10:30pm. Special guests include Poor Baby Bree, Poppi Kramer, and the devilish Bawdy Dancers, plus the burlesque talents of Layla Lepore, Jewel Reebox, Krystal Charms, Ria Rhinestone and Erin Gellgems.

La Mediterranee in Midtown is offering Melange Mondays, an ongoing series of open-mic cabaret, from 9:00pm to midnight on Mondays. The night will be hosted by cabaret singer Jesse Luttrell.

Cait Doyle's Hot Mess in Manhattan (2009 MAC Award for Best Female Debut) returns to the Duplex (61 Christopher Street at Seventh Avenue) with it's 'Bridal Mess' on October 3rd at 9:30pm.
