Artistic Director Rupert Goold today announces the Almeida Theatre's new season.

Winner of four Tony Awards, three Drama Desk Awards and three Outer Circle Critic Awards, the 1998 revival of Cabaret is the first musical of the Obsidian Theater's 2018 season. Come forget all of your troubles at the Kit Kat Club, April 12 - May 5, 2018.

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop) has announced complete casting for its upcoming production of Lerner & Loewe's MY FAIR LADY. As previously reported, Lauren Ambrose will be playing as Eliza Doolittle and Harry Hadden-Paton will play Henry Higgins, alongside Norbert Leo Butz as Alfred P. Doolittle and Diana Rigg as Mrs. Higgins. Just announced are: Allan Corduner as Colonel Pickering, Jordan Donica as Freddy Eynsford-Hill, Linda Mugleston as Mrs. Pearce, and Manu Narayan as Zoltan Karpathy.

Bill Kenwright presents Martin Shaw in the West End premiere of Gore Vidal's sharp political drama The Best Man, at The Playhouse Theatre from Saturday 24 February.

Stage Entertainment has confirmed that due to exceptional public demand over 100,000 new tickets will go on sale today (Friday 26 January 2018) at 12noon GMT for TINA, a new musical based on the life of legendary artist Tina Turner. Officially opening at the Aldwych Theatre on 17 April 2018, with previews beginning on 21 March 2018, the show is now booking to 20 October 2018.

Casting is announced today for James Graham's 'sparkling new play', Quiz, which transfers to the No l Coward Theatre. Following the success of Ink and Labour of Love, Quiz completes a hat-trick of productions in the West End for Graham in less than a year. Artistic Director of Chichester Festival Theatre, Daniel Evans, directs Keir Charles, Greg Haiste, Mark Meadows, Henry Pettigrew, Gavin Spokes, Stephanie Street, Jay Villiers, Lizzie Winkler and Sarah Woodward who reprise their roles from the run at Chichester Festival Theatre. They are joined by Sharon Ballard.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced the line-up today for the 2018 Free Shakespeare in the Park season, continuing a 56-year tradition of free theater in Central Park.

St. Ann's Warehouse presents the American Premiere of Schaub hne Berlin's Returning to Reims, an adaptation of French author Didier Eribon's memoir of the same name, directed by Berlin auteur Thomas Ostermeier, February 4-25. This production marks the first collaboration between St. Ann's and the Schaub hne, whose production of Richard III recently garnered acclaim in BAM's Next Wave Festival.

Mongrel Thumb presents the world premi re of Stephanie Jacob's new comic drama, Again. Hannah Price directs Rosie Day (Izzy), Chris Larkin (Tom), Natasha Little (Louise) and Charles Reston (Adam). Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) announces the cast and creative team for Mary Stuart, Peter Oswald's electrifying new take on the famously bitter rivalry between Mary, Queen of Scots, and her cousin Elizabeth I, Queen of England. The two fiercely independent women at the center of the showdown are portrayed by acclaimed actresses K.K. Moggie as Mary and Kellie Overbey as Elizabeth. Award-winning director Jenn Thompson, former artistic director of The Actors Company Theater (named Company of the Year by The Wall Street Journal), stages the production in CST's Courtyard Theater, February 21 April 15, 2018.

Adam Godley, Ben Miles and Simon Russell Beale are today announced as taking the roles of the Lehman brothers in Stefano Massini's The Lehman Trilogy, adapted by Ben Power and directed by Sam Mendes, in a co-production with Neal Street Productions. Further cast and creatives to be announced.

National Theatre appoints Alastair Coomer CDG as Head of Casting The National Theatre has appointed Alastair Coomer CDG as its new Head of Casting. Previously Casting Director at the Donmar Warehouse, Alastair has cast a diverse range of productions at the Donmar including: The Weir, Coriolanus, My Night with Reg, Privacy, City of Angels, The Vote, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Faith Healer, St Joan, Limehouse and Belleville.

MGC has announced the full casting for Michael Grandage's production of Martin McDonagh's The Lieutenant of Inishmore which opens at the No l Coward Theatre on 4 July, with previews from 23 June and runs until 8 September. Joining Aidan Turner (Padraic) completing the all Irish cast are Denis Conway (Donny), Will Irvine (Christy), Brian Martin (James), Daryl McCormack (Brendan) Julian Moore-Cook (Joey), Charlie Murphy (Mairead), and Chris Walley (Davey).

The Donmar Warehouse today announces that Josie Rourke is to step down in 2019, after eight years as Artistic Director, and Executive Producer Kate Pakenham will leave in June 2018. The team were the first female partnership to run a London theatre. During Rourke and Pakenham's tenure the Donmar stage has seen ground-breaking productions, including BAFTA-nominated The Vote, with Dame Judi Dench, which reached over half a million homes on the night of the 2015 General Election; the award-winning Coriolanus with Tom Hiddleston (2013); and the culture-shifting all-female Shakespeare Trilogy starring Harriet Walter, from director Phyllida Lloyd (2012-2016) in London and New York, and on screen.

St. Ann's Warehouse welcomes back the singular vision of Irish playwright/director Enda Walsh in the American Premiere of his gut-wrenchingly funny and achingly poignant Ballyturk, co-produced by Landmark Productions and Galway International Arts Festival, producers of Walsh's Misterman and last season's Arlington.

Shakespeare's Globe is delighted to announce Michelle Terry's first season as Artistic Director. 2018's Shakespeare productions include Hamlet, As You Like It, The Two Noble Kinsmen, The Winter's Tale, Othello and Love's Labour's Lost. A premiere of three new plays, a national and international tour of Shakespeare and other performances on and off site are announced together with a year-long programme of events exploring the history and future of theatre censorship, as well as a series of events looking at race, refuge and refugees in relation to Shakespeare.

The playwright and philosopher Alexander Matthews presents the debut of his two witty social dramas at Covent Garden's Tristan Bates Theatre in spring 2018. 'Screaming Secrets' and 'Glass Roots' will have back-to-back runs and will form the first Alexander Matthews Season in the UK. Both plays are directed by Evan Keele with production design by Nancy Surman.
