Performance Network Theatre Announces Pay-What-You-Can Ticket Schedule for BECKY SHAW

Performance Network Theatre is proud to announce multiple options for theatre lovers living on a budget for the run of the Michigan Premiere of the Pulitzer Prize Finalist play BECKY SHAW by Gina Gionfriddo with an entirely Pay-What-You-Can performance on June 20, Pay-What-You-Can tickets for students and Members of the Actor's Equity Association during the entire open-to-the-public preview weekend (June 20 - June 27, 2013), and 10 Pay-What-You-Can tickets for every Thursday performance of all future productions. Pay-What-You-Can tickets for June 20, 2013 can be reserved online at performancenetwork.org and all other Pay-What-You-Can options are available by calling the theatre at 734-663-0681.

Arizona Theatre Company's Artistic Director David Ira Goldstein Resigns

Arizona Theatre Company announced today that David Ira Goldstein, ATC's Artistic Director since 1992, will be leaving the Company in December of 2013. In his 21 seasons as artistic director, Goldstein led the Company to unprecedented levels of attendance, critical acclaim, community support, educational outreach and national prominence. During his tenure, he produced over 200 plays, workshops, readings and presentations in Phoenix and Tucson, while personally directing more than 40 mainstage productions ranging from classics to new plays to musicals.

Looking Glass Theatre Welcomes Return of EAST OF THE SUN, WEST OF THE MOON Today

Looking Glass Theatre, celebrating 20 years, brings back for a very limited run Frankie Little Hardin's East of the Sun, West of the Moon, a new children's play directed by Julia Sterling Martin and Naima Warden. East of the Sun, West of the Moon performs today, June 1 and Saturday June 8 at 2 p.m at Richmond Shepard Theatre, located at 309 East 26th Street, at 2nd Avenue.

Performance Network Theatre Presents JAMIE AND JORDAN to Close Children's Theatre Network 2012-2013 Saturday Series Season

The Children's Theatre Network of Performance Network Theatre invites audiences to gather at the theatre onSaturday, May 25th at 1:00pm for the perfect family summer kickoff, "Jamie and Jordan", a baseball themed musical about health and friendships with book and lyrics by Kim Carney and music by Gene Gaunt. Performance Network Announces Three Community Discussions for THE MOUNTAINTOP

Performance Network Theatre is proud to present three community discussions on Monday, May 13 at 6pm, Sunday, May 19 at 4:30pm, and Sunday, June 2 at 4:30pm regarding "The Mountaintop," by Katori Hall - the current Performance Network production that is an imagined portrayal of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s last night on earth. These discussions are open to the public to facilitate dialogue about the play's innovative take on Dr. King's final hours.

2013 Theatre Camps Announced at Totem Pole Playhouse

Camp is an integral part of the summer experience for many children and teens. For those with an interest in the arts, Totem Pole Playhouse's Summer Theatre Camps have provided an opportunity to turn an interest in the performing arts into a lasting appreciation of theatre built upon learning and actual performance and production. For 2013, Totem Pole is pleased to present a series of three Summer Theatre Camps, covering ages 8 through 18. Each camp takes place at Totem Pole Playhouse's facilities nestled amongst the trees of beautiful Caledonia State Park, off historic U.S. 30 between Gettysburg and Chambersburg, in the mountains of south-central Pennsylvania. The camps each last for two weeks and are taught by skilled instructors who have passed strict clearance and background checks.

Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre Presents CINDERELLA,4/4-7/28

The timeless fairy tale meets the magic of Disney in this adaptation of the treasured animated film. Poor Cinderella is endlessly mistreated by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters, and denied a chance to go to the Royal Ball. With a little help from her mice friends, and a lot of help from her Fairy Godmother, Cinderella goes to the ball, meets the Prince, and falls in love!

Way Off Broadway Presents DISNEY'S CINDERELLA, 4/6-7/28

In recent seasons, some of the most popular and successful productions at Way Off Broadway's Children's Theatre have carried the name "Disney" above the title. It was during the 2011 Season that the Children's Theatre at Way Off Broadway produced its first Disney show, 101 Dalmatians. That was followed in 2012 by Disney's Winnie the Pooh and 2013's Season-opener, Disney's Aladdin. This time, there will be no waiting for another Disney show to appear at Way off Broadway, the areas only children's lunch theatre, because following the theatre's production of Aladdin will be one of the most beloved tales of all time, Disney's Cinderella. Disney's Cinderella will appear at the Children's Theatre at Way Off Broadway for an extended run from April 6 - July 28, 2013.
