CHESAPEAKE BEACH, MD -  On Wednesday October 23, 2013 the Rod 'N' Reel Restaurant at The Chesapeake Beach Resort & Spa will present an Italian themed Wine Dinner. This occasion marks the final occasion of the restaurant's second year of popular wine dinners, which first launched in 2012 to coincide with the continuing development of the Resort's eclectic wine cellar.

The Beach Boys have sold over 100 million records worldwide and have received more than 33 RIAA Platinum and Gold record awards, while performing more concerts than any major rock band in history. Sounds Of Summer: The Very Best Of The Beach Boys, Capitol/EMI's 30-track collection of the band's biggest hits, has achieved massive triple-platinum success with sales of more than three million copies in the U.S. since its release in 2012.

Schermerhorn Symphony Center announces the addition of legendary artists The O'Jays and The Beach Boys to its concert calendar. It's one of my favorite weekends of the year. The weekend I get to spend three days listening to exciting new works as presented by some of the best performers Seattle has to offer. And this year Village Theatre did not disappoint as they invited members, performers, staff and press to partake of their Village Originals 13th Annual Festival of New Musicals. Some good, some maybe not so, some needing a little more work than others but all showing a deep love for the art and presented by some of the best voices in town. Now, I can't review them as they're still works in progress but I can tell you about the shows presented over the weekend and let you know about the one show that while still in development is still running one more weekend and can have tickets purchased to by non-members (that would be you, Dear Readers).

Led by original founding members Carl Giammarese and Nick Fortuna, The Buckinghams bring their signature Chicago horn sound to the Suncoast Showroom September 21 and 22.

Last March, the Paramount Theatre, 23 E. Galena Blvd. in downtown Aurora, caused a big stir among its nearly 20,000 subscribers by revealing a blockbuster line-up for its 2013-14 Broadway Subscription Series: IN THE HEIGHTS (September 11-October 6, 2013); MISS SAIGON (October 30-November 24, 2013); 42ND STREET (January 15-February 9, 2014); and RENT (March 12-April 6, 2014).

Legendary music icons and Grammy Award-winners, Brian Wilson (Co-founder Beach Boys) and Jeff Beck (Yardbirds) announced today a co-headlining North American tour. Two of the music industry's most celebrated entertainers will bring an evening of historic musical collaboration to the Fox Theatre on Friday, October 25 at 8 p.m. Wilson's former band mates Al Jardine and David Marks will join Wilson and Beck.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee will be joined by a one-night-only selection of similarly profound musicians hailing from Muscle Shoals, a hotbed of talent and stardom known as the 'Singing River.' Show starts at 7 p.m. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Concert will be held at Deer Valley Resort's Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater.

Single tickets are now available for The Grand 1894 Opera House's Simply Irresistible 2013-2014 Performing Arts Season. Located in historic downtown Galveston, The Grand will open its new powerhouse season with the internationally-acclaimed and award-winning music legends, The Beach Boys. This world- renown group will present two spectacular performances - Saturday, October 5at 8pm and Sunday, October 6, at 4pm.

Could this cast get any more exciting??? Anthony Rapp has just been announced as joining the cast of If/Then, the new musical by the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning creative team behind Next To Normal, Tom Kitt (music), Brian Yorkey (book and lyrics), and Michael Greif (director). Mr. Rapp joins the previously announced Tony Award-Winners Idina Menzel and LaChanze in the world premiere musical. If/Then will play Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street) in spring 2014, beginning preview performances on Tuesday, March 4, and officially opening on Thursday, March 27, 2014.

The official Beach Boys (not to be confused with the currently touring trio of Beach Boy originals Brian Wilson, Al Jardine and David Marks) comes to Freedom Hill August 2. The official group is led by founding member Mike Love along with Bruce Johnston, who has been a member of The Beach Boys since 1965; also touring as the official group are Christian Love, Randell Kirsch, Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill and Scott Totten.

Tonight, July 27 at 7:30 p.m., the Houston Symphony will present a concert featuring Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons live at Jones Hall. Having collaborated with a multitude of artists ranging from Liza Minnelli to The Beach Boys, conductor and keyboardist Robby Robinson will lead the orchestra in an evening of hit singles that catapulted the famous foursome to the top of the charts. Famous hits on the program include 'Sherry,' 'Big Girls Don't Cry,' 'Who Loves You,' 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You' and more. With Valli's signature falsetto voice, this concert is sure to be the perfect backdrop for a night on the town that will take audiences on a nostalgic journey back to the Top 40 charts of the 1960s and '70s.

Mannheim Steamroller and PANDORA Jewelry, the tour sponsor, will present the best the holiday has to offer this season. The group will perform live for one performance only in Wilmington at the DuPont Theatre on Saturday, November 16, 2013.

Shawn (Roday) and Gus (Hill) dive into a world that's equal parts mystery and melody to track down an escaped playwright mad man, Z played by Broadway's Anthony Rapp.
