Some of the best names in live stand-up will be at Storyhouse Chester this Sunday, 4 Mar in the hilarious Our RITA's Comedy Gala.

The Apollo Theater in collaboration with The Atlantic announced that Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o will join her Marvel Studios' BLACK PANTHER co-star Chadwick Boseman for a sold-out conversation about the film, taking place tomorrow, Tuesday, February 27 at 7:30PM EST at the Apollo. In addition to providing hundreds of free tickets to a number of Harlem organizations and their constituencies, the event will be live-streamed by the Apollo, The Atlantic, and AFROPUNK—making the conversation available to fans and audiences worldwide.

All-new weekly series Showtime AT THE APOLLO, hosted by Emmy® Award-winning personality STEVE HARVEY and co-hosted by TV personality Adrienne Houghton, premieres Thursday, March 1 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX, following the spring return of GOTHAM (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT).

Casting has been announced for GOLDSTEIN, a new musical about family with music and lyrics by Michael Roberts and a book by Charlie Schulman which opens Thursday, April 5th at the Actors Temple Theatre (339 West 47 St -between 8th and 9th Avenues).

As Black Panther continues to land rapturous praise and smash box office records in its opening days, the Apollo Theater in collaboration with The Atlantic will present a discussion about the film with its star Chadwick Boseman in conversation with The Atlantic's national correspondent and author Ta-Nehisi Coates. The event will take place on Tuesday, February 27 at 7:30PM EST at the Apollo.

It was announced today that critically acclaimed stand-up comedian Chris Ramsey is gifting his fans with a free online release of his 2017 tour 'Is That…Chris Ramsey?' Recorded in front of a home crowd at Newcastle's Metro Arena, Chris brings his trademark high-energy delivery, hugely engaging manner and off-the-cuff style to the unexpected challenges of new fatherhood, remaining a child at heart, and being wrongly arrested by a crack police squad while still in his underpants.

The Historic Ali Cultural Arts is proud to present one of the most acclaimed new jazz performers in the world, Matthew Whitaker. The blind teen prodigy has been hailed by critics for his virtuoso style on the piano and the Hammond B3 organ. Whitaker was recently profiled on the Today Show and has been seen on a variety of TV programs including Ellen, CBS Sunday Morning and Good Morning Japan. Last year, he debuted his critically acclaimed first CD, Outta the Box, featuring a mix of original compositions and his take on the classics.

Assembly Festival (1-27 August 2018) is working with multi-award winning Scottish theatre companies Grid Iron and Stellar Quines on the production of their new show BINGO! which premieres at Assembly Hall on the Mound, Edinburgh on 6 March.

Abramorama and Bert Marcus Productions will debut the definitive electronic dance music film, WHAT WE STARTED, at the Regal Cinemas SOUTH BEACH 18 on Lincoln Road in Miami, Florida on March 22nd during ULTRA, the world's premiere electronic music festival. Following the film's SOUTH BEACH premiere, there will be theatrical events around the country, with additional premieres in New York City on Friday 3/23 and in Los Angeles on March 29th at American Cinematheque's Egyptian Theater.

The all-new weekly series SHOWTIME AT THE APOLLO, hosted by Emmy® Award-winning personality STEVE HARVEY and co-hosted by TV personality ADRIENNE BAILON HOUGHTON, premieres Thursday, March 1 @ 9/8c on FOX, following the spring return of GOTHAM. Also to be featured in the premiere episode is a special performance with PITBULL and FIFTH HARMONY. 

Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Producing Artistic Director, Todd Schmidt-Managing Director), recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award, has announced today Harry Connick, Jr. will star as Henry Gondorff in the world-premiere production of The Sting.  The musical is based on the 1973 film, and will have its world premiere at Paper Mill Playhouse for a limited run from March 29 through April 29, 2018, with book by Bob Martin, music and lyrics by Mark Hollmann &Greg Kotis with Harry Connick, Jr.  In addition, the score will contain music by Scott Joplin including 'The Entertainer.'

Fresh from her hugely successful debut show 'What Would Beyonce Do?!', star of Comic Relief and Live at The Apollo, Luisa Omelan will bring the cream of UK stand-up talent to Birmingham this February for a one-off comedy bonanza with 100% of all proceeds donated to Helena's Hospice Foundation.

Following an initial extension last year, Paul Chowdhry has added another round of extra dates to his first nationwide tour in two years, with his new show Live innit. Following a virtual sell out of the entire tour so far, including a performance at Wembley Arena (which saw Paul become the first Asian stand-up to play a sold out show there) and two nights at Hammersmith Apollo - marking him as one of the UK's biggest selling live comedians - the new dates will see Paul revisit some of the UK's most prestigious venues, including a return to Hammersmith Apollo from 4th April 2018.
