The blind teen prodigy has been hailed by critics for his virtuoso style on the piano and the Hammond B3 organ. Nancy Manocherian's the cell (Artistic Director, Kira Simring) will present the Off Broadway Premiere of BASTARD JONES, a rock musical comedy based on Henry Fielding's bawdy 18th century novel, The History of Tom Jones. With book, lyrics, & direction by Marc Acito (Broadway's Allegiance) and music & lyrics by Amy Engelhardt (Grammy nominees The Bobs), performances begin June 14 at the cell. Opening is slated for Thursday, June 22.

Danrich seamlessly transforms from one character to the next with quick-witted, lively dialogue and songs that will transport you from the jazz and blues lounge to the gospel revival to the opera house. The music for Love & Trouble was written by Hall and Danrich with lyrics and poems by Danrich.
