The Ambassador Theatre Group has won a lawsuit regarding bringing outside food into theaters, according to Forbes.

The Ambassador Theatre Group is thrilled to announce that THE LIGHTNING THIEF: THE PERCY JACKSON MUSICAL, an "electrifying" (Newsday) musical adaption of the New York Times best-selling novel written by Rick Riordan, will play at the Mahalia Jackson Theater in New Orleans Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14.

Complete casting has been announced for Moulin Rouge! The Musical, which begins rehearsals today for the Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG)'s Emerson Colonial Theatre engagement of just 36 performances from June 27, 2018 through August, 5, 2018. Reviving a great theatrical tradition, Boston's crown jewel reopens its doors this summer with the World Premiere engagement of the musical, based on the 2001 20th Century Fox Motion Picture by Baz Luhrmann.

Just last night, the Dramatists Guild Foundation (DGF) gathered the best of Broadway at the Hudson Theatre to toast the life and work of one of American theatre's greatest living composers, Stephen Schwartz, on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 7pm EST. The Dramatists Guild Foundation (DGF) will toast the life and work of one of American theatre's greatest writers, Stephen Schwartz, on Monday April 23rd at 7PM EST at the Hudson Theatre (141 W 44th St, New York, NY 10036). The star-filled concert, sponsored in part by the Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) and the Hudson Theatre, will showcase and shine a spotlight on Schwartz's beloved songs, stories, and legacy in celebration of his 70th Birthday.

According to the Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye, Jonathan Munby's successful production of King Lear, starring Sir Ian McKellen and Sinead Cusack, will head to the Duke of York Theater this summer for a limited sixteen week run. 

The Ambassador Theatre Group is to produce a brand new stage musical based on the life of the legendary Frank Sinatra, in partnership with Stewart Till and Frank Sinatra Enterprises. The show, which is planned to open in 2018, will feature a number of timeless hit songs from Sinatra's incredible catalogue of over 1400 tracks recorded during his illustrious career. Script development for the Frank Sinatra musical is planned to start shortly.

The Queen's list of 2017 New Year honorees has been announced. Among those being honored are director John Tiffany, actor Hugh Laurie, and Rosemary Squire, co-owner and joint chief executive of The Ambassador Theatre Group.

A new musical featuring the songs of legendary pop singer Tom Jones is now in the works. According to the New York Post's Michael Riedel, a staged reading of the project, titled WHAT'S NEW PUSSYCAT?, was recently directed by Scott Ellis (SHE LOVES ME) in London a few weeks ago.

One of the UK's best-loved plays, Jim Cartwright's The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, has gone into rehearsals at Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre. The show will open the theatre's summer season in June.

'A Night at the Plaza' a new musical comedy with book by Ward Morehouse III and music and lyrics by David Romeo, will receive a reading at New York's Players Club tonight, Tuesday, May 16 at 7:00 PM. It is a closed reading.

The Adelaide Festival Board has announced respected arts leaders Rob Brookman and Torben Brookman will join the senior leadership team of the Adelaide Festival as Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director.

One of the UK's best-loved plays, Jim Cartwright's The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, opens the summer season at Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre in June.
