New Theatre's 25 UNDER 25 Free Student Tix EDITH CAN SHOOT THINGS AND HIT THEM

This timely and controversial work examines the lives of two all but abandoned teens having to create a makeshift family and its values while getting through the pangs of growing up. New Theatre joins the prestigious Humana Festival of New Plays at the Actors Theatre of Louisville, where it had its first production and the Actor's Express in Atlanta, GA to present the National New Play Network's Rolling World Premiere of Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them.

Chuckleheads Mark 4th B-day With Extravaganza at Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte

The Charlotte improvisational theatre group, the Chuckleheads, will celebrate their 4th birthday by performing in the 'Happy Birthday To Us IV Comedy Improv Musical Variety Extravaganza' at Actor's Theatre of Charlotte, 650 E Stonewall Street, Charlotte, on Saturday, October 8 beginning at 8:00pm.

Chicago Dramatists and About Face Theatre are proud to co-produce the world premiere of THE KID THING by Chicago Dramatists Resident Playwright and About Face Theatre Artistic Associate Sarah Gubbins. Directed by Joanie Schultz, THE KID THING will preview September 1st, open September 9th and 10th and run through October 16th at Chicago Dramatists, 1105 W. Chicago Ave. Recently, the Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, has named THE KID THING as one of 19 theatre recipients of the second round of The Edgerton Foundation New American Play Awards for 2011. The prestigious grant will fund the extension of the development and rehearsal period of the new play.
