Sting Set for INSIDE THE ACTOR'S STUDIO Later this Month

Bravo Media's Emmy Award-winning “Inside the Actors Studio,” hosted by James Lipton, welcomes world-renowned musician, actor, author and composer Sting to the stage on Thursday, October 23rd at 8pm ET/PT. Lipton sits down with the singer-songwriter to discuss everything from his time with The Police to his forthcoming Broadway musical “The Last Ship,” which opens on October 26th at the Neil Simon Theatre. Sting has received sixteen Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, an Emmy Award and has earned three Academy Award nominations, along with a membership in both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Written and adapted by Chazz from the screenplay of the same name, 'A Bronx Tale' relives his coming of age in the midst of the workingman and gangsters in the Italian-American neighborhood where he grew up.

Tim Sika presents The Answer-Killing Question Buys a Crisis, a world premiere satire on educational institutions at all levels by Barry Germansky. Cihangir Duman directs a cast of four, including Rafa Perez, Andy Phillips, Heather Shisler, and Dan Kellmer. Performances will be staged at The Crown Theater at The Producers' Club (358 West 44th Street, New York, NY 10036) from today, October 3 through October 26, 2014.

Original DEATH OF A SALESMAN Cast Member, Don Keefer, Dies at 98

Among other roles, Don Keefer originated the role of Bernard in DEATH OF A SALESMAN on Broadway, directed by Elia Kazan, which ran from February 1949 to November 1950. According to the New York Times, stage and screen actor Donald Hood Keefer, 98, died in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

RHAPSODY IN BLACK Plays United Solo Festival, Beginning Tonight

This November Islington's King's Head Theatre is to stage the world premiere of Norris Church Mailer's stage play Go See, a gripping exploration of personal, cultural and sexual identity in a big city. Directed by Sondra Lee and designed by Klara Zieglerova with lighting design by Mike Robertson, the show runs November 12 to 29, 2014. Press night is slated for November 14 at 7.15 p.m.

Celebrating the 6th Anniversary of Whitmore Eclectic, Aliah Whitmore directs Sylva Kelegian and Lisa Richards in a revival of Marsha Norman's eloquent, darkly humorous, Pulitzer Prize-winning drama 'night, Mother. The opening is set for Nov. 1 at The Lost Studio on La Brea Ave.

MISS JULIE to Run 10/21-11/8 at August Strindberg Rep

From October 21 to November 8, August Strindberg Repertory will transport Strindberg's 'Miss Julie' to an antebellum Louisiana plantation in a new interpretation conceived by Artistic Director Robert Greer and adapted by Edgar Chisholm from a translation by Greer. The production will include a ballet sequence, which Strindberg specified in the original manuscript and which has never been performed before. The piece will be directed by Robert Greer and choreographed by Ja' Malik.
