Full Cast Set for LAUGH IT UP, STARE IT DOWN at Cherry Lane Theater

Fullcasting has been announced for Laugh It Up, Stare It Down, a new play written by Alan Hruska (The Man on Her Mind, New House under Construction, Reunion) and directed by Chris Eigeman (known as a filmmaker for Turn The River and as an actor for roles in television's Gilmore Girls and the films Metropolitan, Barcelona, and The Last Days of Disco). Laugh It Up, Stare It Down will premiere at The Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street) beginning a limited engagement on August 26th with opening night set for September 9th.

Tessa Kim's THE BAD GERMAN Solo Show to Run at FringeNYC, 8/14-28

?As a part of FringeNYC with performances August 14-28 at Spectrum (121 Ludlow St.), experience the modern worries and woe of a sensitive and passionate female German at the hilarious solo show THE BAD GERMAN. Written by and starring Tessa Kim, the show will feature direction from Sarah Elizabeth Wansley (Lincoln Center Directors Lab member, 2011 and Drama League Directing Fellow, 2015).

Butoh Medea to Open United Solo 2015 at Theatre Row

Butoh Medea opens United Solo Theatre Festival at Theatre Row this year. United Solo, the world's largest solo theatre festival in its 6th season, presents over 130 productions from 6 different continents. Butoh Medea received four awards at United Solo 2014: Best One-Woman Show, Best Lighting Design, Best Costume Design and Best Choreography. Moreover, the show was selected to United Solo Europe to present the work in Warsaw, Poland this June. It played sold out show and received much acclaim. In August it will appear at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for twenty-one shows. It will return to NYC to open United Solo 2015. The Studio Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street, New York City. Cast Announced for WAM Theatre's HOLY LAUGHTER

WAM Theatre has announced the casting for their fall production of Holy Laughter by Catherine Trieschmann. The production will be directed by Megan Sandberg-Zakian and opens on November 1, on the St. Germain Stage at Barrington Stage Company's Sydelle and Lee Blatt Performing Arts Center in Pittsfield.

Rutina Wesley Leads TWELFTH NIGHT, Opening Tonight at The Old Globe

The Old Globe presents William Shakespeare's delightful and romantic Twelfth Night, directed by Rebecca Taichman, whose production of the time-traveling Time and the Conways fascinated audiences last April, as part of the 2015 Summer Shakespeare Festival. The Old Globe engagement runs through July 26, 2015, with opening night tonight, June 27 at 8:00 p.m., in the Lowell Davies Festival Theatre.

LES Shakespeare Company's ROMEO & JULIET Begins 7/23 at Under St. Marks Theater

LES Shakespeare Company presents ROMEO & JULIET in a new interpretation re-imagined with original compositions and choreography at Under St. Marks Theater (94 St. Marks Place) from Thursday July 23rdthrough Saturday July 25th. Ego Actus to Present I KNOW WHAT BOYS WANT

Ego Actus will present the World Premiere of Penny Jackson's dark comedy I KNOW WHAT BOYS WANT at Theatre Row's Lion Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street, NYC, beginning performances on July 16th, opening July 18th at 8 PM and continuing through August 2nd. Greenway Arts Alliance Extends THE GLASS MENAGERIE Through 6/28

Greenway Arts Alliance has announced that their critically-acclaimed, smash-hit, 70th anniversary production of one of the greatest plays of all time, THE GLASS MENAGERIE, by Tennessee Williams and directed by Jack Heller is EXTENDING through SUNDAY, JUNE 28 at the Greenway Court Theatre, 544 North Fairfax Avenue in Hollywood.  This production reunites The Actors Studio's Brian Foyster and Jack Heller for their first Tennessee Williams play since the award-winning The Lost Plays of Tennessee Williams.
