Ann Hampton Callaway & More Win Big at the 2013 MAC Awards

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs has just announced the winners of the 2013 MAC Awards, which were presented last night at the 27th Annual MAC Awards Show. The awards ceremony was held at B.B. King Blues Club, and the show was directed by Lennie Watts and produced by Julie Miller. Lifetime Achievement awards were presented to Tom Wopat and Penny Fuller. The Board of Directors Award was presented to 54 Below, and a special award was presented in memory of Ruth Kurtzman. The Hanson Award was presented to Elaine St. George. The show was hosted by KT Sullivan, with music direction by Tracy Stark, and stage management by Amy Wolk.

Terese Genecco and her eight-piece 'Little Big Band,' a monthly musical staple at The Iridium Jazz club since March of 2009, teams up with producer ScoBar Entertainment and special guest star Lea DeLaria to present two shows at the brand new Cutting Room, 44 East 32nd Street (between Park and Madison Avenues) in New York City tonight, January 29th at 8 and 10 PM.

Nicolas King, dubbed "the precociously polished crooner" by the New York Times, recently wowed audiences for six months at The Iridium NYC, as he jammed with Terese Genecco and her Little Big Band, as a featured guest vocalist, while simultaneously presenting critically-acclaimed solo performances at Don't Tell Mama and Metropolitan Room. The star-studded audiences were filled with the likes of Liza Minnelli, Gina Lollobrigida, Marylin Maye and Andrea McArdle, to name-drop a few. Urban Stages WINTER RHYTHMS 2012 Begins Tonight

Urban Stages (Frances Hill, Founding Artistic Director), in association with producer/director/lyricist Peter Napolitano announces a series of musical evenings entitled WINTER RHYTHMS 2012, beginning on Tuesday, December 4 and running through Friday, December 15, 2012 at Urban Stages Theatre (259 West 30th Street).
