MCC Theater has just announced the the New York premiere of John Pollono's Lost Girls. Golden Globe nominated star of stage and screen, Piper Perabo-who recently completed five seasons of the USA's popular drama series 'Covert Affairs' for which she received a Golden Globe Award nomination, and was last seen onstage in the Broadway and MCC Theater productions of Neil LaBute's Reasons to be Pretty-stars alongside Ebon Moss-Bachrach(HBO's 'Girls'), Meghann Fahy (Next to Normal),Tasha Lawrence (Good People, The Whale), and newcomers Lizzy DeClement and Josh Green.

BroadwayWorld has just confirmed additional casting for the upcoming Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof: ALIX KOREY (All Shook Up, Chicago) will play Yente, SAMANTHA MASSELL (La Boheme) will play Hodel, BEN RAPPAPORT (“Mr. Robot,” Picnic) will play Perchik, and ALEXANDRA SILBER (Master Class) will play Tzeitel. In addition, JESSICA VOSK (The Bridges of Madison County) will play Fruma Sarah, AARON YOUNG will play Sasha, and JULIE BENKO (Les Misérables), JESSE KOVARSKY (The Death of Klinghoffer), and SILVIA VRSKOVA will also join the cast.
Cirque du Soleil Creating New Show for Broadway; PARAMOUR Opens Next Summer!

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Cirque du Soleil Theatrical is coming to Broadway! Scott Zeiger, President and Managing Director just announced the new production of Cirque du Soleil -PARAMOUR, the organization's first created specifically for Broadway. Previews for this production will begin on Saturday, April 16, 2016 with an official opening set for Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the Lyric Theatre (213 West 42nd Street).

The marquee for the new FIDDLER ON THE ROOF revival, starring Danny Burstein, is now up! Performances will begin on Thursday, November 12, 2015, with an opening night scheduled for Thursday, December 17, 2015, at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Various NYC casting offices and members of the entertainment industry will be participating in the August 8th edition of SCENES AND SONGS FOR SCHOOL SUPPLIES. Coordinated by various members of the Casting Society of America, SCENES… is a charity event to benefit First Day NY (http://www.firstdayny.org/), a 501c3 organization that works to make sure children living in NYC shelters have everything they need to get a great start on their first day of school.

Producers Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel, and Jam Theatricals just announced that Tony nominee JESSICA HECHT (A View From the Bridge, “Breaking Bad,” The Last Night of Ballyhoo) and ADAM KANTOR (The Last Five Years, Next to Normal, Rent) will join the cast of Fiddler on the Roof. Hecht will play the role of Golde and Kantor will play the role of Motel. Further casting will be announced soon.
