Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) has announced the complete cast and director for its upcoming production of Neil LaBute's world premiere drama, THE WAY WE GET BY. The production will star Golden Globe nominee Tatiana Maslany, the critically-acclaimed star of the BBC America series Orphan Black, making her New York stage debut, and Tony Award nominee Thomas Sadoski, well known for his role on the HBO series, 'The Newsroom,' as well as his Tony-nominated performance in LaBute's reasons to be pretty. The play will be directed by Leigh Silverman, who was nominated for a Tony Award last season for her direction of Violet.

It looks like Broadway may have another jukebox musical opening next spring. According to Deadline.com, the children of Bert Berns, songwriting contemporary of Carole King, Gerry Goffin, and many other '60s artists, are pushing to have, PIECE OF MY HEART: THE BERT BERNS STORY, the Off-Broadway bio musical about their father, taken to the Great White Way.

According to an Equity casting notice, the show will get a developmental lab this fall, October 27 through November 21, 2014.

Nederlander, Estefan Enterprises, Inc and Bernie Yuman just announced that ON YOUR FEET! - a new musical based on the life story of seven-time GRAMMY® winning international superstar Gloria Estefan and her husband, legendary producer-musician-entrepreneur Emilio Estefan - will have its Opening Night on Broadway on Thursday, November 5, 2015, with preview performances beginning Monday, October 5, 2015 at the Marquis Theatre in New York City.
