Jaston Williams, quite possibly Texas' premiere contemporary story teller, hand-selected The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston, Texas, to premiere his latest one-man show Camping With Gasoline. And with full sincerity, I can say that the Galveston audiences are very thankful that he did.

Named by Orson Welles as "the most original mind in magic", world famous mentalist and master magician Max Maven makes his Off-Broadway debut in the summer's most mind bending supernatural attraction, MAX MAVEN: THINKING IN PERSON. Previews began at The Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex (312 W. 36th Street -1st floor) on June 12th. Presented by Alexander Marshall and Giles Cole, Maven's electrifyingform of on-stage mentalism, officially opened last night, June 14th and continues until Sunday, July 1st. The Emergent Arts production of Yankee Tavern runs at the Riverside Arts Center (76 North Hurton Street, Ypsilanti, Michigan) from June 28 to July 1. The Geffen Playhouse's world premiere stage adaptation of The Exorcist showcases an award-winning design team - including world-renowned creative consultant Teller and internationally acclaimed spiritual composer Sir John Tavener - to bring playwright John Pielmeier's script and Tony Award winning director John Doyle's vision to life on stage. The team also includes Tony Award winning scenic/costume designer Scott Pask, lighting designer Jane Cox and sound designer Dan Moses Schreir. Working with Doyle, the design team will be tasked with creating a theatrical experience that engages the senses in a way that is unique to live performance.

The Media Theatre held auditions for the 2012 "Delco Idol" contests on May 21 and 23. More than 150 singers participated, and now the theatre has chosen this year's contestants. The final list of contestants for "Delco Idol" and "Delco Idol Junior" is available online at www.mediatheatre.org.

Suite Caroline took her first paying gig at age 10. Since then, she has played for crowds as large as 30,000 people. She has opened concerts in her home state of Florida and across the nation for many popular artists including Reba, Martina McBride, Blake Shelton, and Lifehouse, to name a few. She has played supporting stages for Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, and Willie Nelson. She has sung live with Sheryl Crow, Pat Benatar, Charlie Daniels and the GoGo's. She has even performed in Australia, Fiji and Ireland.
