Bristol Riverside Theatre Announces 2014-2015 Season

Bristol Riverside Theatre announces its 2014-2015 mainstage season including two comedies, a play with music, a musical and a classic drama. The new season features the Tony Award-winning comedy The 39 Steps adapted byPatrick Barlow, Neil Simon's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning Lost in Yonkers, Always…Patsy Cline about the Grammy Award-winning singer, the Tony Award-winning musical Ragtime with book by Terrence McNally, music byStephen Flaherty, and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, and the timeless drama An Enemy of the People by Henrik Ibsen.

STAGES St. Louis will welcome back to the stage, after unprecedented demand, Always... Patsy Cline, beginning April 22, 2014 to The Playhouse at Westport Plaza. Always... Patsy Cline was originally produced by STAGES during its record-breaking 27th Season, which resulted in two added performances and historic attendance. Nightly, the audiences stopped the show with thunderous applause for numbers like 'Crazy,' 'Lovesick Blues,' and 'Your Cheating Heart.'

ALWAYS...PATSY CLINE Will Return to Stages St. Louis for 8-Week Engagement in 2014

STAGES ST. LOUIS has announced, after unprecedented demand, Always... Patsy Cline will return to St. Louis April 22 - June 15, 2014 to The Playhouse at Westport Plaza. Always... Patsy Cline was originally produced by STAGES during its record-breaking 27th Season, which resulted in two added performances and record-breaking attendance. STORIES MY GRANDMOTHER TOLD ME, WRINKLES & CHRISTMAS GUEST Set for Spiral Theatre Studio's Inaugural Season

The Spiral Theatre Studio (TSTS) is pleased to announce its inaugural season, launching the Salt & Pepper series for "seasoned" citizens with three productions: STORIES MY GRANDMOTHER TOLD ME, WRINKLES, and CHRISTMAS GUEST. The unique aspect of The Spiral Theatre Studio is the stage-consisting of a Hexagon divided into twelve (12) fully carpeted modular pieces that move upon a fully carpeted floor. Additionally, TSTS will represent under-served markets such as Senior Citizens, African-American writers, Women writers, the LGBT and Environmental Movement communities, by working with them creatively or providing performances that interest their demographic. All performances will take place at The Spiral Theatre Studio (at Paul Michael's The Network) at 242 West 36th Street, NYC, in the heart of the new Theatre district.

Crystal Bowersox to Play Ridgefield Playhouse, 9/15

The Ridgefield Playhouse stage will be graced by 'triple threat' singer, songwriter, actress Crystal Bowersox, who was the runner-up on the ninth season of American Idol in 2010 and has the distinction of being the first female finalist in three years, on Sunday, September 15, at 8 p.m. Crystal is on a national tour before she heads for Broadway where she will star in the premiere of Ted Swindley's Always... Patsy Cline this fall in the title role. Special guest is rising star singer/songwriter and guitarist Emily Elbert, whose most recent album is Alive, In Love. This event is partially underwritten by Urgent Care of Connecticut and is part of the Xfinity Rock Series.

Crystal Bowersox-Led ALWAYS...PATSY CLINE Postpones Broadway Run; Producers Hopeful for Fall 2013 Opening

American Idol finalist Crystal Bowersox and Oscar and Emmy Award nominee Annette O'Toole will have to wait a little bit longer to bring Ted Swindley's Always... Patsy Cline to Broadway. BroadwayWorld has confirmed that the show, which was previously set to open in August, has been postponed due to problems booking an appropriate Broadway Theatre. The full team is still on board to continue with the production and producers are hopeful that performances will begin in Fall 2013.

Broadway Rose Theatre Extends ALWAYS...PATSY CLINE thru 5/26

One of the best-loved names in country music is the subject of Always...Patsy Cline, a funny and touching tribute as narrated by one of her most devoted fans and friends. The musical tribute features Sara Catherine Wheatley as Cline and Broadway Rose's artistic director, Sharon Maroney, as her friend, Louise Seger. Always...Patsy Cline is being performed now at the Broadway Rose New Stage. Sales for Always…Patsy Cline have been extremely strong, and the theater has decided to extend the run another week. The show will now run through May 26, 2013.

Broadway Rose Theatre Company Presents ALWAYS...PATSY CLINE, Opening 4/19

One of the best-loved names in country music is the subject of Always...Patsy Cline, a funny and touching tribute as narrated by one of her most devoted fans and friends.
