Broadway Records announced that the new Jekyll & Hyde 2012 Concept Recording will be released on iTunes today, September 21st and on CD on Tuesday, September 25th, 2012. The new concept recording is produced by Frank Wildhorn, Jason Howland, and Billy Jay Stein and executive produced by Van Dean, Kenny Howard and Ken Mahoney. The preview engagement of JEKYLL & HYDE celebrated its opening night performance on September 8, 2012, at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts in La Mirada, Calif. The limited pre-tour engagement will play through September 30, 2012. According to the show's star, Constantine Maroulis, on Twitter, the Broadway theatre has now been revealed as the Richard Rodgers Theater (currently home to THE GERSHWIN'S PORGY & BESS) with an opening planned for April of 2013.

On August 13, Broadway at Birdland presented multi-Grammy and Tony-nominated composer Frank Wildhorn in his monthly concert series called "Frank & Friends." Joining Frank onstage were Constantine Maroulis (upcoming star of Jekyll & Hyde), who sang a tune from the Broadway-bound revival- 'This Is the Moment.'

Joining previously announced Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis in the dual title role of Dr. Henry Jekyll and Edward Hyde and Grammy-nominated R&B superstar Deborah Cox as Lucy, are Teal Wicks (Wicked) as Emma Carew, Laird Mackintosh (Mary Poppins) as John Utterson and Richard White (Most Happy Fella) as Sir Danvers Carew. The National Tour will launch on October 2, 2012 at San Diego's Civic Theatre.'
