Stars of JEKYLL AND HYDE Constantine Maroulis and Deborah Cox recently stopped by My FOX Houston to talk about the Broadway-Bound national tour, which opens tonight at the Hobby Center. Watch the interview below!

The new production of the international musical sensation JEKYLL & HYDE will return to Broadway in Spring 2013, following a 25-week National Tour. After Houston, additional tour stops include: Tampa (10/23-28), Buffalo (10/30-11/4), Charlotte (11/6-11), Washington D.C. (11/20-25), Dallas (12/4-16), Philadelphia (12/26-30), Durham (1/8-13), Oklahoma City (1/15-20), Tulsa (1/22-27), Los Angeles (2/12-3/3).

The cast features Constantine Maroulis in the dual title role of Dr. Henry Jekyll and Edward Hyde, Deborah Coxas as Lucy, Teal Wicks as Emma Carew, Laird Mackintosh as John Utterson and Richard White as Sir Danvers Carew.

Rounding out the cast are David Benoit, Jerry Christakos, Dana Costello, Wendy Fox, Brian Gallagher, Sean Jenness, Mel Johnson Jr., Stephen Mitchell Brown, James Judy, Ashley Loren, Courtney Markowitz, Aaron Ramey, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Rob Richardson, Blair Ross, Doug Storm, Haley Swindal and Jason Wooten.

Conceived for the stage by Tony and Grammy Award nominee Frank Wildhorn and Steve Cuden, the four-time Tony Award Nominated musical JEKYLL & HYDE features a book & lyrics by two-time Oscar winner, Emmy winner and four-time Tony Award Nominee Leslie Bricusse, music by Frank Wildhorn, and will be directed and choreographed by Tony Award Nominee Jeff Calhoun.

After four thrilling, chilling years on Broadway and multiple world-wide tours, this dark and dangerous love story from Oscar and Grammy winner Leslie Bricusse and Tony and Grammy Award nominee Frank Wildhorn returns in a stunning new production that includes all the classic songs (This is the Moment, A New Life, Someone Like You) that first grabbed audiences by the throat and transformed JEKYLL & HYDE into a theatrical phenomenon.
The musical is based on the acclaimed novella The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde byRobert Louis Stevenson, about a London doctor who accidentally unleashes his evil alternate personality in his quest to cure his father’s mental illness.
