ELF THE MUSICAL on Hale Centre Theatre’s Centre Stage in Sandy is a “sparklejollytwinklejingley” celebration of the joys of Christmas. 

First off, Dear Readers, I need to put it out there that “Beautiful: The Carole King Story” is one of the few bio-musicals that gets it right. Sure, it’s got killer music from an icon but the book from Douglas McGrath is, in a word, beautiful. But beyond my affinity for this show, I also need to put it out there that the current production from Village Theatre is also a thing of beauty in the efforts from both the cast and crew, and amounts to one of my favorite things, theatrical alchemy. All the parts come together to form magic.

There are not enough words to describe Paramount Theatre’s current production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which is based on the book by Roald Dahl. Director Trent Stork and this cast (over 20) brings the world of imagination to vivid life.

DISNEY ON BROADWAY stars Caissie Levy, Patti Murin, Gavin Lee, Heidi Blickenstaff, Ashley Brown, L. Steven Taylor, Josh Strickland, Kissy Simmons, Mandy Gonzalez, Michael James Scott, Bradley Gibson, and Shoba Narayan will grace the America Gardens Theatre with performances of the songs that made them famous, along with other sensational tunes.
