Producers Opry Entertainment and Fox Theatricals, in conjunction with Dallas Theater Center, have announced complete casting for the Dallas Theater Center's World Premiere engagement of MOONSHINE: That Hee Haw Musical, a new musical comedy lovingly (and loosely) inspired by the classic TV series

THE PRINCE OF BROADWAY is onstage at last!

Umeda Arts Theater just announced the cast and creative team for the World Premiere of Prince of Broadway, a new musical celebrating the extraordinary six decade Broadway career of producer-director Harold Prince.  The production will play from October 23-November 22, 2015 at Tokyu Theatre Orb in Tokyo, Japan and November 28-December 10, 2015 at Umeda Arts Theater, Main Hall, in Osaka, Japan.

Vanessa Hudgens and the cast of Broadway's GIGI took to the street to serenade the cast of JERSEY BOYS, their neighboring show at 52nd Street's August Wilson Theatre.

THE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THEATRE AWARDS (NHSMTA)/JIMMY AWARDS just announced that 52 high school students from across America will compete for the Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actor and Actress at the seventh annual awards ceremony. The presentation will take place on Monday, June 29th at 7:30PM at the Minskoff Theatre, 200 West 45th Street in Manhattan. The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) presents Spot on the Wall a new musical with book and lyrics by Kevin Jaeger, music by Alex Mitchell. Devin Dunne Cannon directs a cast of six, including Robert Hager*, Lisa Kuhnen*, Neal Mayer*, Joseph Simeone*, Madison Stratton* and Charles West*. Spot on the Wall is being staged at Theater 3, 311 West 43rd Street, 3rd Floor (bet. 8th & 9th Avenues) in NYC for five performances from Tuesday, July 7 through Tuesday, July 14, 2015. *Appearing courtesy of Actors' Equity Association.

?Gigi, the new Broadway production of Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's beloved Oscar and Tony Award-winning musical comedy, will play its final performance on Sunday, June 21 at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 West 52nd Street). The production, which began previews on Thursday, March 19 and opened officially on Wednesday, April 8, will have played 20 previews and 86 performances.
