Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Friday, January 23 at 10:00 AM at www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at (877) 250-2929 for the new Broadway production of Gigi, Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's beloved Oscar and Tony Award-winning film and stage musical. Gigi will open on Broadway on Wednesday, April 8 at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 West 52nd Street). Previews will begin on Thursday, March 19.

As rumored, expected and hoped, Gigi is heading to Broadway, straight from Washington, DC! The new production of Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's beloved Oscar and Tony Award-winning film and stage musical Gigi will open on Broadway on Wednesday, April 8 at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 West 52nd Street). Previews will begin on Thursday, March 19. Tickets go on sale on Friday, January 23 at 10:00 AM.

YALE REPERTORY THEATRE presents the world premiere of FAMILIAR by Danai Gurira, directed by Rebecca Taichman, January 30-February 21 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street). Opening Night is Thursday, February 5.

The Growing Studio will be hosting a free seminar for all of the wonderful actors of New York City today, January 6 from 7 to 8:20 p.m. at the Alvin Ailey Theatre (405 W 55th St, New York, NY 10019).

Dan Knechtges (Lysistrata Jones, Xanadu) will direct a January 8-9 industry reading of the new musical GLORY RIDE. Tony Award nominee Josh Young (Jesus Christ Superstar), Alison Luff (Matilda), Quinn van Antwerp (Jersey Boys), and Herndon Lackey (Les Miserables) will lead the cast.

North Carolina Theatre (NCT), the region's premier producer of professional Broadway shows, is excited to announce that Raleigh's own Ira David Wood, III has been cast in Billy Elliot alongside talented young Charlotte teen Sam Faulkner in the title role of "Billy." David will play Billy's father. NC Theatre's original production of Billy Elliot will run February 10 - 15, 2015 at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium in the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.

YALE REPERTORY THEATRE presents the world premiere of WAR by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, directed by Lileana Blain-Cruz, November 21–December 13 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street). The company opening is scheduled for Friday, November 28. The official press opening will follow on Saturday, November 29.

On Sunday October 12th, Broadway Star- Lindsay Mendez taught a one day musical theatre master class at the Broadway Workshop in New York City.

Paper Mill Playhouse will open its 2014-2015 season with a Broadway-bound, world-class revival of Can-Can starring Kate Baldwin as Pistache and Jason Danieley as Aristide. Can-Can will play the Millburn, New Jersey, theater from tonight, October 1 through October 26, 2014. The official press opening night is Sunday, October 5, at 7:00pm.
