Paper Mill Playhouse will host an online contest to promote their production of Half Time, the new musical about not acting your age. "Generations," The Half Time Dance Contest is a social contest where participants will film a video of multiple generations of their family dancing to whatever music moves them.

Paper Mill Playhouse announced today the full cast and creative team for the East Coast premiere of Half Time. The newest addition to this stellar cast is Tony award winner and Broadway legend Donna McKechnie.

When I attended the Broadway incarnation of In the Heights, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Accordingly, when they announced their current season, I had the upmost confidence that the showing at the gorgeous The John W. Engeman Theatre was going to be just as stellar. Being the Engeman Theatre, I was proven right. The wonderful production runs through April 29th at the Northport venue masterfully directed by Paul Stancato.

Bell Investment Advisors (www.bellinvest.com) has announced the firm is sponsoring the final concert of the Oakland Symphony's 2016/17 season at the historic Paramount Theatre, 2025 Broadway, downtown Oakland, May 19, 8 pm. Maestro Michael Morgan will conduct Frank Loesser's celebrated 'Guys and Dolls'. Bryan Nies, Assistant Conductor, will conduct Jule Stynes' Overture to 'Gypsy' and Richard Rodgers' Overture to 'Oklahoma' and Waltz from 'Carousel'. Soloists Ben Jones, Annie Sherman, Tami Dahbura, and Jack Wilken are featured, along with the thrilling 90-member Oakland Symphony Chorus.

Tonight (Wednesday, April 5th), after their evening performance, members of the national touring cast of KINKY BOOTS will appear at Oak Lawn's Round Up Saloon for LASHES OFF: AN AFTER-HOURS BENEFIT CONCERT at 11:00pm. The evening will benefit True Colors Fund, which was co-founded by KINKY BOOTS songwriter Cyndi Lauper to help end LGBTQ youth homelessness. Tickets to KINKY BOOTS and an autographed poster will also be raffled at the event.

The Kinky Boots national tour welcomes Broadway alum Timothy Ware to the road as he takes over the iconic role of Lola. No stranger to Lola's famous thigh-high red boots, Ware was the Lola Standby on Broadway where he performed the role 186 times. He's previously been seen across the country in the national tours of Mamma Mia! and Jesus Christ Superstar. Ware joins the tour cast in Spokane, WA, on Tuesday February 28, 2017.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival's award-winning musical comedy about illegal immigration, will receive a workshop featuring student performers, along with members of the original New York cast.

Eddy Cavazos will step into the role of Manuel in the workshop of de la Puente and Davila's award-winning musicalMANUEL VERSUS THE STATUE OF LIBERTY when the curtain goes up tomorrow night at Princeton University. Cavazos, who had previously worked with Davila on ADAN Y JULIO, steps into the role as a last minute replacement for Gil Perez-Abraham whose film schedule made him unavailable at the final hour.
