Adam Savage will return to television as host and executive producer of MythBusters Jr., when the new Science Channel series premieres on Wednesday, January 2 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. For the ten-episode series Savage has teamed-up with six of the nation's leading young 'makers', robotics wizzes, builders, and inventors, all under the age of 16, who show off their amazing ingenuity and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) skills.

Your Alice by Billie Aken-Tyers heads to London for a reading at the Arcola Theatre on November 30th. Following its international premier at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Off-Broadway run in New York City, Your Alice returns to the UK this fall. Produced by Pinkhouse Productions LLC, Your Alice follows Charles Dodgson (pen name Lewis Carroll) as he tells his child muse, Alice, her favorite story for the last time. As they sail down the Oxford River, his beloved characters weave the audience in and out of Wonderland and through his tortured relationship with 10-year-old Miss Liddell.
The six-strong cast includes Theatre Peckham alumni Malachi Green and newcomers Ayanna Christie-Brown and Gustavo Navarro alongside acting stalwarts Geoff Aymer (THEYOUNG VIC, ARCOLA THEATRE, SHAKESPEARE'S GLOBE, BARBICAN, ROYAL COURT), Ray Newe (NATIONAL THEATRE, LIVERPOOL PLAYHOUSE), TerriAnn Oudjar (upcoming ROYAL COURT, THE PLAYHOUSE THEATRE). Just because a work is new doesn't mean that it isn't able to honor the classic sources that paved the way for its creation. This idea is underscored in the Ragamala Dance Company's elegant and well-executed performance of Written in Water, which relies on the ancient Indian board game Paramapadam (a precursor to Snakes and Ladders) and Hindu mythology to craft the performance's three movements. Even though the performance could benefit from more dynamic shifts in tonality, the overall effect is gorgeous and precise.
Theatre of NOTE completes its 2017-2018 season with the World Premiere of CLEO, THEO & WU, written by Kirsten Vangsness and directed by Lisa Dring. CLEO, THEO & WU will preview Friday and Saturday, October 26 and 27 at 8pm, and will open on Thursday, November 1 at 8pm and run through Saturday, December 8 at Theatre of NOTE, 1517 N Cahuenga Blvd (just north of Sunset) in Hollywood.
