The cast of the highly anticipated stage adaptation of the one of the most iconic dramas of the 1950s discusses FROM HERE TO ETERNITY in a new behind-the-scenes featurette highlighting the forthcoming Tim Rice/Stuart Brayson West End tuner.

Following a sumptuous new teaser trailer released earlier this week, today we have a fascinating look behind-the-scenes at WEST END LIVE performance of FROM HERE TO ETERNITY in a preview featurette just released in promotion of the new Tim Rice/Stuart Brayson musical.

A series of provocative and picaresque promo posters for the highly anticipated new West End musical adaptation of the hallowed, historically-based novel and subsequent classic film FROM HERE TO ETERNITY have been released, featuring the comely central cast soaking up the equally alluring and eerie tropical atmosphere of the Hawaii-set tale - and proving their patriotic spirit given the professions and proximity to the Army for all concerned in the war-ravaged, period-set tale of forbidden love.

Casting has been announced for the world premiere of Tim Rice and Stuart Brayson's new stage musical From Here to Eternity which begins previews at the Shaftesbury Theatre on 30 September.

Claire Sweeney plays Rita and Matthew Kelly is Dr Frank Bryant in a production directed by Tamara Harvey.

Producers Broadway Across America (John Gore, Thomas B. McGrath, Beth Williams), Howard Kagan and Barry Brown have just announced that the new Broadway musical TUCK EVERLASTING will have its pre-Broadway world premiere at Boston's Citi Performing Arts Center Colonial Theatre (106 Boylston Street) in June of 2013. With a book by Tony Award nominee Claudia Shear (Dirty Blonde), music by Chris Miller (The Burnt Part Boys), lyrics by Nathan Tysen (The Burnt Part Boys) and directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon), TUCK EVERLASTING is based on the novel by Natalie Babbitt. Broadway production details, design team and casting for TUCK EVERLASTING will be announced at a later date.

Following a hugely successful run in 2010 both at the Chocolate Factory and in the West End, Educating Rita returns to Southwark Street for three weeks only, prior to a UK tour. Matthew Kelly and Claire Sweeney star in Willy Russell's modern classic, directed by Tamara Harvey.

Papatango have teamed up with one of London's leading new writing venues, the Finborough Theatre to present the winning entries in the 2011 Papatango Playwriting Competition 2011, featuring this year's winning play Foxfinder by Dawn King which will play for a four week limited season from 29 November (Press Night: Thursday, 1 December 2011 at 8.30pm) and three runners up who will each receive a one week run - Through The Night by Matt Morrison (Press Night: Wednesday, 7 December 2011 at 6.30pm), Rigor Mortis by Carol Vine (Press Night:Wednesday, 14 December 2011 at 6.30pm) and Crush by Rob Young (Press Night: Tuesday, 20 December 2011 at 6.30pm).
