YPC Brings Transmusica Program to Symphony Space Tonight

A program representing cultures from around the world will be performed at Symphony Space tonight, June 23, at 7 p.m., in 'Resounding Hope Through Music,' a concert featuring three extraordinary youth choirs: the YMCA Jerusalem Youth Chorus from Israel in its New York debut and from the U.S., the Chicago Children's Chorus and the Young People's Chorus of New York City, which is presenting this concert as part of its 'Transmusica' concert series. The series was created in 2012 to build bridges to other world cultures through the magic of music.

Kozlova's Dance Conservatory's Annual Gala Set for Tonight

On the heels of the Kozlova International Ballet Competition is the Annual Gala of Kozlova's Dance Conservatory, her school located in midtown Manhattan. The young dancers will celebrate both classical and contemporary works at the performance, which will include excerpts from the classics, La Sylphide, La Bayadere, Le Corsair, and others, as well as contemporary dances and an except from Margo Sappington's sassy 'For Ella.' tonight, June 19th at 7 PM at Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway.

Circus comes to New York City as part of City Parks Foundation's SummerStage Kids International Contemporary Circus Festival, with free performances in all five boroughs from June 26 - August 17, 2015. New Yorkers will be dazzled by Bollywood-style juggling, hoop diving and partner acrobatics shows specially designed to entertain all ages! New LGBT-Themed Musical Film ALL LOVE IS DIVINE Out Today

Inspired by timeless jazz ballads and black and white films, ALL LOVE IS DIVINE is planned for release today, June 12, 2015, which is 'Loving Day', the 48th anniversary of the Supreme Court decision that allowed interracial marriage in the United States. The short film tells the story of an interracial gay couple from their first embrace through their wedding day.

New England Philharmonic Selects Winner of 30th Annual Call for Scores

The New England Philharmonic (NEP) has selected "Spectre of the Spheres" by David Hertzberg, winner of their 30th annual Call for Scores. The composition will receive its Boston premiere by the NEP under the direction of Richard Pittman at their April 30, 2016 concert. The concert will also feature the world premiere of an NEP commission from David Rawkowski, Symphony No. 6,  Alban Berg's  Violin Concerto ("To the Memory of an Angel") featuring soloist, Danielle Maddon and Jean Sibelius' "The Oceanides." BAYSIDE! THE MUSICAL! to Play 250th Performance Tomorrow

Bayside! The Musical! - the hilarious unauthorized parody of the Saturday morning show "Saved by the Bell" is celebrating its 250th show on Thursday June 4th!  The surprise hit, Bayside! The Musical!, was only scheduled to run three months in Fall 2013 but has been extended 12 times.

As the 'Spring Swing' continues toward his mid-summer headlining debut at 54 Below, acclaimed NYC jazz vocalist-songwriter MARCUS GOLDHABER will be debuting a completely new live event THIS SATURDAY at BAR THALIA @ SYMPHONY SPACE to celebrate the start of his summer residency there. Today's performance starts at 9 PM.
