Gingold Theatrical Group's PROJECT SHAW, under the leadership of Artistic Director David Staller, presents its 105th production, Shaw's masterwork, Man and Superman, on Monday, July 20 at 7pm, at Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre (2895 Broadway at 95th St.).

"Since our full production of Man and Superman in 2012 at the Irish Rep, we've had so many requests for another live presentation we were inspired to bring it back to Project Shaw this season," said Artistic Director David Staller. "It is indisputably, one of the greatest romantic comedies ever written for the stage and we will, of course, be presenting it with the vital 'Don Juan in Hell' dream scene. The cast we've assembled are a Shavian dream team."

Man and Superman is a comedy of hellish proportions. Jack, a confirmed bachelor, is determined to keep clear of Ann's matrimonial designs on him. He flees across continents and even, in the dream act of Don Juan in Hell, to Hades for a chat with the Devil and back again to avoid entrapment. But, finally, her intelligent will is too much for him. This highly entertaining and incendiary play will be performed complete, though in a trimmed version created by David Staller.

The cast features Douglas Sills (Mendoza/The Devil), Michael Urie (Octavius Robinson), Stephen Kunken (John Tanner/Don Juan), Amelia Pedlow (Ann Whitefield/Dona Ana), Mary Beth Piel (Mrs. Whitefield), Harris Yulin(Roebuck Ramsden/The Statue), Molly Ranson (Violet Robinson), Mark Shanahan (Henry Starker), Jack Gilpin (Mr. Malone), and Hunter Canning (Hector Malone).

Tickets are $30 and are available by calling (212) 864-5400 or online at www.symphonyspace.org.

Now celebrating its 10th year, Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw made history in December 2009 as the first company ever to present performances of every one of Shaw's 65 plays (including full-length works, one-acts and sketches).

The season continues Sept. 21 with a Chekhov Comedy Event, Oct. 19 with The Doctor's Dilemma, Nov. 23 with John Bull's Other Island and Dec. 21 with The Shewing-Up of Blanco Posnet.

Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre space is completely disabled accessible. Symphony Space is located in Manhattan at 2537 Broadway (at 95th Street).
