New York-Sunnyside Concert Series presents Helen Hayes Award Winner Brian Childers and performer Amanda Keane-Stack in a new concert enAtled Life, Love and Other Mysteriesis. The Concert is an evening of songs exploring those aspects of life in the city and more, featuring classic and contemporary musical theatre songs from composers such as Sondheim, William Finn, James Taylor, Jeanine Tesori, Jule Styne, Irving Berlin and more.

BWW Review: Due To The Success In Rio, OU TUDO OU NADA (The Full Monty) Opens In Sao Paulo In Short Season At Theatro NET SP

The Brazilian stage production of the musical created out from one of the great movie box office hits in the 1990s - The Full Monty - conquered the cariocas in their season of 5 months, directed by Tadeu Aguiar and Portuguese version by Artur Xexeo. In this musical production version, with a book by Terrence McNally and score by David Yazbek, six unemployed steelworkers, low on both cash and prospects, decide to present a strip act at a local club after seeing their wives' enthusiasm for a touring company of Chippendales-type club. One of them, Jerry, declares that their show will be better than the Chippendales dancers because they'll go 'the full monty'-strip all the way. As they prepare for the show, working through their fears, self-consciousness, and anxieties, they overcome their inner demons and find strength in their camaraderie.

Leslie Zemeckis Brings Old Hollywood Back for BOOBS, BOOKS & BURLESQUE

It was standing room only Tuesday night as hundreds gathered at The Culver Hotel to meet author and filmmaker Leslie Zemeckis for a unique evening of book signing and burlesque. Zemeckis stunned in a silhouette Christopher Kane dress and custom-made KOKIN headpiece as she signed copies of her latest book, "Goddess of Love Incarnate: The Life of Stripteuse Lili St. Cyr," a biography of history's most celebrated burlesque artist.

Infusion Baroque to Make Bay Area Debut This Spring

The San Francisco Early Music Society is proud to present the Bay Area debut of Infusion Baroque. Cast, Creative Team Set for MY MOTHER, MY SISTER & ME at Morris Museum's Bickford Theatre

?The Morris Museum is proud to announce the complete casting for its spring play, My Mother, My Sister & Me. This world premiere stars longtime Broadway favorite Loni Ackerman (Sylvia Fenster). The cast also includes Laura Ekstrand (Arlene Abrams), Stephanie Windland (Robin Abrams), Gary Littman (Danny Abrams), Scott McGowan (Heshy Mankowitz), Ethan Berman (Marco Lopez), and introducing Paris Mercurio as Holly Abrams. My Mother, My Sister & Me was written by former Bronx native and current New Jersey resident, Sherri Heller and will be directed by Eric Hafen, Producing Artistic Director of the Bickford Theatre.  The play will run twelve times at the Bickford Theatre from April 7 through April 24, 2016.

TV Star Ilene Kristen Leads Dixon Place Reading of AND I SAW HER

Daytime television star Ilene Kristen will be featured in the staged reading of award-winning playwright Penny Jackson's AND I SAW HER tonight, March 10 at 7:30pm at Dixon Place. Directed by Presidential Scholar of the Arts, Shira-Lee Shalit, AND I SAW HER is being presented in Dixon Place's signature works-in-progress series. The reading is an Equity showcase.
