Hear ye, hear ye! In honor of National Tiara Day this Sunday, May 24, the Off-Broadway hit comedy Disenchanted! announces the first ever Tiara Awards. Not your (Fairy God) mother's awards - 'The Tiaras' (#TheTiaras) are granted to the most enchanting ingenues, spellbinding performers, wicked scoundrels and perfect Prince Charmings of the Great White Way.

In the 12-time Tony nominated musical Fun Home, a college-age Allison, played onstage by Emily Skeggs, sings 'Changing My Major'- a song about her new romance with 'Joan.' Based on the graphic memoir of the same name by Allison Bechdel, the musical is based on her youth, and 'Joan' indeed was a real part of her time at Oberlin College.

Symphony Space's 2015 gala celebrated Broadway impresario Harold Prince with a star-studded musical tribute to the legendary 21 time Tony Award-winning producer/director on May 18, at Capitale. Danny Burstein hosted the evening, which featured performances by Kate Baldwin, Sierra Boggess, Santino Fontana, Jeremy Jordan, Ramin Karimloo, Norm Lewis,Rebecca Luker, Laura Osnes, and Chita Rivera. Producers Fox Theatricals (Kristin Caskey, Mike Isaacson) and Barbara Whitman have announced that the coast-to-coast North American Tour of Fun Home, the twelve-time Tony Award nominated American musical based on Alison Bechdel's graphic novel of the same name, will begin in the 2016 - 2017 Season.

The 81st Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon was held at the Marriott Marquis Times Square in the Broadway Ballroom (1535 Broadway) on Friday, May 15, 2015 where our winners were announced. The ceremony was hosted by Hand To God star, Steven Boyer and Tyrone. Awards were presented by Zachary Quinto and Neil Patrick Harris. The 71st Annual Theatre World Awards -- the first award created in 1945 to recognize a debut theatre performance on or off-Broadway -- will be honoring the legacy of Betty Comden and ON THE TOWN with a special recognition for "Outstanding Contribution to the Theatre World." The 71st Annual Theatre World Awards will take place on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Broadway's Lyric Theatre (213 W. 42nd St, New York, NY 10036).    

The Drama Desk members and the Outer Circle Critics have made their selection and the Tony Award-voters are busy casting their ballots in anticipation of Broadway's biggest ballyhoo on Sunday, June 7 on CBS.
