The new season of outdoor entertainment from The Naples Players has already begun with bi-monthly Drive-In Movies off 5th Avenue South. Coming up in October, outdoor live theatre events in several Collier County Parks begin with the charming real-life tale of Yours, Truly.

The cast has been announced for the Omaha performances of SPANK! The Fifty Shades Parody! Omaha Performing Arts presents SPANK! for three performances tonight, June 13, at 7:30 p.m.; and Friday, June 14, and Saturday, June 15, at 8:00 p.m. in the Orpheum Theater. The musical comedy parody is part of the Omaha Performing Arts' 2012/2013 Season.

It doesn't get much more disappointing than Spank! The Fifty Shades Parody, an incredibly misguided spoof of the equally misguided novel Fifty Shades of Grey, where every joke is predictable, expected, bland, and punctuated by ferocious dry-humping.

THE FIFTY SHADES PARODY, whips, chains, handcuffs and undulating abs have the mostly 20-something female crowd screaming for more. Yes, female crowd...the farer sex outnumbered the males by at least 100 to 1.
