The Independent Reviewers of New England (IRNE) today announced the nominees for the 20th Annual IRNE Awards, which honors the best of the previous year's actors, directors, choreographers, designers and companies across the full spectrum of large, mid-size and fringe theater companies.

Pie and hot coffee in cold midwinter will be on order this Monday February 15 at 10 AM when the box office opens for the eagerly anticipated musical Waitress! Costumed waitresses will serve the first 100 ticket buyers a homemade pie created by Production Pie Consultant Stacy Donnelly at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street).

Rehearsals begin Monday, February 8 for the spring Broadway production of Waitress, following its sold-out limited engagement at the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA.

Atlantic Theater Company has announced complete casting for the world premiere of Academy Award nominee and Pulitzer Prize finalist Kenneth Lonergan's latest play Hold On To Me Darling, directed by Atlantic Artistic Director Neil Pepe.

An all-new promo for WAITRESS, featuring composer Sara Bareilles and star Jessie Mueller has been shared on the show's official Facebook page.

Tony Award-nominee Nick Cordero (Bullets Over Broadway, Rock of Ages, A Bronx Tale - The Musical) has joined the Broadway cast of Waitress, playing the role of Earl, the husband of lead character Jenna, played by Tony Award-winner Jessie Mueller (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), BroadwayWorld has learned.

Choreographer Lorin Latarro has joined the creative team for the Broadway production of Waitress.  With her addition, Waitress is the first Broadway musical in history where a traditional four person creative team of book writer, composer, choreographer and director have all been women.* Latarro replaces Chase Brock, who choreographed the pre-Broadway run at the A.R.T.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that beginning Tuesday, November 3, the new hit musical, Finding Neverland, will change its performance schedule by adding a Sunday evening performance, which will replace the current Wednesday evening performance.

BroadwayWorld has just learned  that Broadway veteran Terrence Mann (Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserable) will take over the roles of "Charles Frohman" and "Captain Hook" in the smash hit musical Finding Neverland beginning Tuesday, September 29. Anthony Warlow, Neverland's current Frohman/Hook, will play his final performance on Sunday, September 27.

Gary Barlow (front-man of UK pop sensation Take That) and Eliot Kennedy (Grammy-winning producer), the award-winning composers of Broadway's smash hit musical Finding Neverland, treated ticket holders of the Wednesday, September 16th evening performance with an exclusive concert at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. BroadwayWorld has just learned that Broadway and Australian stage vet Anthony Warlow, who is currently starring  as 'Charles Frohman' and 'Captain Hook' in FINDING NEVERLAND, will remain in the show longer than expected. Warlow, who was previously sceduled to end his run on September 13, will continue through September 27.

WAITRESS, the promising new musical adaptation of the 2007 indie rom-com that starred Kerri Russell and Nathan Fillion, may need a bit more shaking and baking before it's ready to contend for Broadway's Blue Ribbon. However, singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles, screenwriter-turned-librettist Jessie Nelson, director Diane Paulus and star Jessie Mueller have stirred enough tasty ingredients into their bittersweet concoction to whet the audience's appetite for a second serving.
