The Lilly Awards Broadway Cabaret, an evening of musical showstoppers written by women and performed by Broadway's best, will benefit The Lilly Awards Foundation (Marsha Norman, President) whose mission is to promote gender parity at all levels of theatrical production, and develop and celebrate the work of women in the theater.

Bryn Mawr Performing Arts Series presents a year-long celebration of Trisha Brown, an internationally-known leader of post-modernism and enduring renegade whose work has rarely been seen in Philadelphia. Trisha Brown: In the New Body showcases Brown's iconic choreography, and her influence and innovative ideas on movement and art.  Named In the New Body because of Brown's influential reimagining of the body's relationship to gravity and momentum, this festival presented in partnership with the Barnes Foundation, Pennsylvania Ballet and several area universities will celebrate the major phases of Brown's work through free and ticketed performances and illuminating classes, workshops and talks with the artists and scholars who know her work best.

Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) raised $800,000 at its 40th Anniversary Gift of Music gala, held at The Plaza Hotel on April 20th. Funds raised at the gala benefit OSL's artistic and Community & Education programs, as well as The DiMenna Center for Classical Music, New York City's first and only space dedicated to classical music rehearsal, recording, and education.

The Collegiate Chorale raised more than $300,000 at its annual Spring Benefit featuring the U.S. premiere of Kurt Weill and Franz Werfel's The Road of Promise at Carnegie Hall on May 7, 2015. Proceeds will go toward The Chorale's artistic and education initiatives.

WQXR, New York City's classical music station, announced today that American operatic soprano and Grammy Award-winner DEBORAH VOIGT has been named the inaugural Susan W. Rose Artist-in-Residence, an annual position awarded to a prominent classical artist.

Motherhood Out Loud, conceived by Susan R. Rose and Joan Stein, is a play featuring a culturally and gender diverse series of candid monologues on the subject of motherhood, written by a host of celebrated writers. Motherhood Out Loud traverses the experience of motherhood from inception, birth, sexuality, growing up, letting go and the sandwich generation. The show has had successful productions all over the country, including an off-Broadway run at Primary Stages in New York City.

Two-time Tony nominee Jayne Atkinson (CRIMINAL MINDS, HOUSE OF CARDS) will direct a benefit production of MOTHERHOOD OUT LOUD at Berkshire Theatre Group's Unicorn Theatre in Stockbridge on March 28thand 29th as part of the Berkshire Festival of Women Writers. Proceeds from the production, co-produced by Atkinson and Susan Rose, will benefit WAM Theatre and the Berkshire Festival of Women Writers.
