New Theatre and Restaurant's production of Neil Simon's 'Biloxi Blues' transports its 2019 audience back to Army boot camp during the closing days of World War II.   Simon has been mostly recognized for plays that depend on situations producing comedy and quick laughs. 'Biloxi Blues' is more serious. 

For a really, enjoyable evening, don't miss New Theatre Restaurant's musicalized version of the 1992 film comedy 'Sister Act' with a great score by Alan Menken and Glen Slater.  Here is a show with a cast that features absolutely NO WEAK SISTERS. Seldom does an audience get to sit back and simply smile.  You know what is coming and it is still fun.

Steven Wright is a prototype comedian that many others continually try to follow. Beginning his comedy career at the age of 23 as a regular performer at Ding Ho's Comedy Club and Chinese Restaurant in Cambridge, Mass., Wright got his first big break when he was booked on 'The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.' Following his on-air performance, Steven Wright was invited to return the following week for a rare back-to-back appearance on 'The Tonight Show,' launching Wright's career into high gear.
