Bristol Riverside Theatre announces the appointment of Kevin Maroney as Managing Director following a national search conducted by Management Consultants for the Arts, Inc.

Bristol Riverside Theatre ends its mainstage season triumphantly with the farcical period-piece musical Triumph of Love, based on the play by Marivaux, with book by James Magruder, music by Jeffrey Stock, and lyrics by Susan Birkenhead on May 1-20. Directed by Keith Baker, music directed by Douglass Lutz, and choreographed by Stephen Casey, the ensemble cast features Jake Delaney, Joy Franz, Adam Hoyak, Alex Keiper, Rebecca Robbins, Danny Rutigliano, and Carl Wallnau.

Broadway Veteran Ted Louis Levy, garners a double nomination for the 2018 Big Easy Awards. Fresh from taping an appearance with New Orleans native son Harry Connick Jr., Ted Louis Levy receives nominations for both 'Choreography' and 'Best Lead Actor in A Musical' in the roll of another New Orleans Icon, Mr. Ferdinand Joseph La Menthe Morton a.k.a Jelly Roll Morton in Jelly's Last Jam.

Ghostlight Records has announced the release of the Original London Cast Recording of Stephen Schwartz's WORKING on Friday, March 2. The album is being released following a hugely successful run at Southwark Playhouse, directed by Luke Sheppard in Summer 2017. This will be the first recording of WORKING since the Original Broadway Cast Recording in 1978 and will feature never before released tracks by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Vassar & New York Stage and Film's 33rd Powerhouse Season celebrates the opening of its highly anticipated musical workshop production of The Secret Life of Bees tonight, July 27, at 8 p.m. at the Vogelstein Center for Drama & Film, with performances continuing on Friday, July 28, Saturday, July 29, and Sunday, July 30. Vassar & New York Stage and Film have announced the next wave of casting for their highly anticipated 33rd Powerhouse Season in Poughkeepsie, NY, which starts this Friday, June 23 and runs through July 30, 2017.

WORKING is the extraordinary genre-defining musical from Grammy and Academy Award-winner Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell) based on Studs Terkel's best-selling book of interviews with the American workforce: Working: People Talk About What They Do All Day and How They Feel About What They Do. The show has been adapted by Stephen Schwartz and Nina Faso, the creators of Godspell and Rags, with additional contributions by Gordon Greenberg.

'Monsoon Wedding,' the new musical based on Mira Nair's acclaimed 2001 movie, has been showered with praise at Berkeley Repertory Theatre in Berkeley, Calif. Karen D'Souza of the San Jose Mercury News writes: 'You are swept up' by its 'swirling typhoon of sound and color.' This Indian musical has curried such favor with its audiences that it's been extended through July 16.

Following a continued overwhelmingly positive response from audiences and critics alike, Berkeley Rep has announced that the world premiere musical of Mira Nair's Monsoon Wedding will extend for a third and final week. The new musical will now run through Sunday, July 16.
