The University of Washington School of Drama, under the leadership of Executive Director Todd London, is proud to announce its 75th Anniversary Season. This historic season will celebrate, honor, and build upon the School of Drama's deep connections to Seattle's theatre community and serve as a bridge between the School's rich history and its future.

The full cast is set for the first national tour of THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, opening at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre on December 10, 2015, and playing through January 17, 2016. (Previews on December 8 and 9.)

Jimmy Ferraro's STUDIO THEATRE, 5732 Main Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652, presents the perfect follow-up after their critically acclaimed production of Neil Simon's Last of the Red Hot Lovers, with the musical comedy SOPHIE, TOTIE & BELLE. Opening Night is Friday, October 30th at 7:30pm and the production runs weekends through November 22nd.

Winner of the Obie Award in 1962, Pulitzer Prize Winning playwright Frank D. Gilroy gave his blessings on the upcoming revival of his play WHO'LL SAVE THE PLOWBOY? before his recent passing, saying, 'Your persistence is flattering and wins my approval.'

11th Hour Theatre Company's Next Step Concert Series begins with the Terrance McNally/Kander and Ebb TONY winner Kiss of the Spider Woman. The talented students from the Warner Theatre Center for Arts Education are proud to present CHARLOTTE'S WEB, November 20-22, in the Nancy Marine Studio Theatre. This production is part of the Warner's Young Actor Series.

CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to announce that award-winning actress, playwright and director Regina Taylor will be narrating poems of Dr. Maya Angelou during the world premiere performances of newly-commissioned orchestral works Nov. 13-14 at historic Music Hall. The works, written by pre-eminent American composers Jonathan Bailey Holland, Kristin Kuster and T.J. Cole, are based on Dr. Angelou's poems “Forgive,” “Elegy” and “Equality,” which Ms. Taylor will narrate as part of the performance of the works. The concerts (11 a.m. Nov. 13 and 8 p.m. Nov. 14) mark the culmination of the CSO's annual One City, One Symphony initiative, designed to bring people together through music. Also on the concert program is Dvo?ák's beloved Symphony No. 9 (“From the New World”) and Beethoven's Leonore Overture No. 2. 

Plan-B Theatre Company continues its 25th Season with BOOKSMART, the company's second World Premiere in partnership with the David Ross Fetzer Foundation for Emerging Artists, aka The Davey Foundation.

  The Wedding Warrior follows Casey, a 30-something, single wedding coordinator as she combats the mayhem and mishaps that lead up to matrimony. Better off wed? That is just one of the questions Casey poses as she passes the torch to an incoming wedding coordinator in this, comedic peek into the chaos that ensues before marital vows are taken. With characters into the double digits, The Wedding Warrior is a slice of life piece about love, relationships and the crazy characters with whom we cross paths, forever changing our own journey.

Gary Naylor sees an innovative take on Romeo and Juliet which gets plenty of laughs early on before a descent to murder and suicide.

Tickets are now on sale online, by phone, and in person for Huntington Playwriting Fellow Kirsten Greenidge's Obie Award-winning Milk Like Sugar, playing January 29, 2016 - February 27, 2016 in the Roberts Studio Theatre at the Huntington's Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA and directed by Huntington Associate Producer M. Bevin O'Gara (Becoming Cuba).

Analyzing how discrimination plays a role in students' lives and in the Long Beach community, the ensemble of EPIC: #enthnocentricCRAP, takes the stage in a brand new work.  Playing November 20 - December 6, director Anna Steers expects the show to engage, excite, and provoke audiences.
