Erbe, Glover, Cerveris & More to Star in Lincoln Center's NIKOLAI AND THE OTHERS; Full Cast Announced

Lincoln Center Theater has just announced that Betsy Aidem, Blair Brown, Michael Cerveris, Anthony Cochrane, Lauren Culpepper, Alvin Epstein, Kathryn Erbe, John Glover, Jennifer B. Grace, Katie Kreisler, Stephen Kunken, Haviland Morris, Dale Place, John Procaccino, Garth Saxe and Alan Schmuckler will be featured in the 18-member cast of its upcoming world premiere production of NIKOLAI AND THE OTHERS, a new play by Richard Nelson.

Current nominees Dr. John and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band have been added to join a performance by the Black Keys, in addition to three-time GRAMMY Award winner Stanley Clarke, current nominee Chick Corea and current nominee Kenny Garrett paying tribute to Dave Brubeck, a performance by current nominee Juanes and a joint performance by Travis Barker, Chuck D, two-time GRAMMY Award winner and host LL COOL J, two-time GRAMMY Award winner Tom Morello and DJ Z-Trip, all on THE 55TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS broadcast. Nominees Zac Brown, Brittany Howard (Alabama Shakes), and Mumford & Sons, along with five-time GRAMMY winner, GRAMMY Legend Award recipient, and 2000 MusiCares Person of the Year honoree Elton John and GRAMMY winner and Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient (as a member of the Staples Singers) Mavis Staples will join together for a special tribute to the late Levon Helm as part of the annual In Memoriam segment on the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards telecast. Current nominee T Bone Burnett will serve as musical director for this special tribute to Helm. Additionally, current nominees Miguel and Wiz Khalifa also are set to perform on Music's Biggest Night. Thirteen-time GRAMMY winner Dave Grohl, three-time GRAMMY winner and current nominee Ne-Yo, and TV and radio host/producer (and newly appointed Honorary Chair of the GRAMMY Foundation Board) Ryan Seacrest will appear as presenters.

Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) next free OSL@DMC event at The DiMenna Center for Classical Music will feature American composer Sean Shepherd previewing his new commission for St. Luke's Chamber Ensemble. Mr. Shepherd will share his thoughts, insights and inspirations, and members of OSL will play excerpts from his new composition. The world premiere of Mr. Shepherd's Quintet will take place at OSL's next chamber series program, entitled Spin Paris, March 3 - 8, 2013. This is his first composition for OSL.
