Grammy-winning arranger, composer, and big-band leader Maria Schneider joins The University of Texas Jazz Orchestra as part of the Butler School of Music's annual Longhorn Jazz Festival.

The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts' Target World Music and Dance Series continues in March, with a performance by Celtic music legend Eileen Ivers & Immigrant Soul tonight, March 17 (St. Patrick's Day). This performance begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Ordway's Music Theater.

The Tribeca Film Institute (TFI) today announced projects selected for the 10th Annual Tribeca All Access (TAA) program. After a highly successful bout on Broadway, Mike Tyson announced that he would take his acclaimed one-man show, 'Mike Tyson: UNDISPUTED TRUTH,' on a national tour. Helmed by renowned director Spike Lee and producer James L. Nederlander, the tour began in February 2013 and appears at the San Diego Civic Theatre tonight, March 5, 2013.

Today at the Television Critics Association meeting, PBS reaffirmed its commitment to independent film by announcing that it will offer its second annual Online Film Festival, featuring short form films beginning today, March 4, and will offer a multi-platform Independent Film Showcase this fall.
