The hit West End production of Motown the Musical this weekend will celebrate its second birthday at the Shaftesbury Theatre and announces that from 6 March 2018 the West End cast will be led by Jay Perry as Berry Gordy, Natalie Kassanga as Diana Ross and Carl Spencer as Marvin Gaye. They join David Albury who continues in the role of Smokey Robinson. Cruz Lee-Ojo, 11 years old from Uxbridge also joins the Company to share the role of Young Michael Jackson, Berry Gordy and Stevie Wonder with Tumo Reetsang, 12 years old from Southwark, London.
The minute the curtain was raised and a familiar tune of the Four Tops reached my ears, I knew that both the audience and I were going to be dancing in our seats all night. Throughout the evening, the audience was serenaded with many hits such as the sweet sound of The Temptations singing 'My Girl' and the classic song 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours' by the incredible Stevie Wonder. There was not one moment in the show that I did not absolutely adore.

The Mike Stern Band featuring Teymur Phell and Richie Morales will headline the 7th Les Paul Festival Concert at Ramapo College on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the Berrie Center's Sharp Theater at 8:00 p.m. The annual festival celebrates Mahwah resident Les Paul's innovative spirit as a musician and technologist by hosting a week of guest speakers and workshops for Ramapo's music students culminating in a concert for the college and regional community. The Les Paul Festival is presented by the Ramapo College Music Program, the Berrie Center for the Performing and Visual Arts, the School of Contemporary Arts, the student-run Ramapo Music Club, and the Mahwah Museum.
