Broadway leading lady Janet Dacal will bring her passionate Cuban roots to the Great American Songbook for one night only, Sunday, April 13th at 7:30 PM, at Rockwell Table & Stage in Los Angeles, 1714 N. Vermont Avenue. The fusion of musical genres and intoxicating rhythms will culminate in an immersive sound brought to life by Janet's sultry vocal styling.

In collaboration with the NYC Department of Education's Borough-Wide Band and Orchestra program, KIDS ON STAGE allows middleschool students the opportunity to experience the professional performance process from the first audition to the final note. This year's finalists included: Sophia Atlas-Ruggirello, Isabel Bruschi, Kaitlyn Cao, Matthew Cuji, Marvin Carter, Zachary Davis, Melissa Dookie, Olivi Dul, John Fabrizio, Christopher Ferdinand, Magdalena Garandza, Chelsea Jordan, Miles Keingstei, Justin Laurenceau, Christopher Rush, Joshua Sipson, Liuxi Sun, David Valderrama, Jason Whitelaw and Margaret Wu.

Broadway stars Ryan Silverman and Nikki Renee Daniels joined the Detroit Symphony Orchestra on Friday in its most recent pops program, 'The Cocktail Hour: Music of the Mad Men Era.' The program was created and conducted by Maestro Steven Reineke, Music Director of the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall, and Principal Pops Conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Performances run through March 16.

The world premiere production of the brand new musical comedy Bullets Over Broadway, written by Woody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film, will begin preview performances tomorrow, March 11 and officially open Thursday, April 10, 2014 at The St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street). The new musical will be directed and choreographed by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman. The program will include a celebration of the 75th Anniversary of The Wizard of Oz, a tribute to the movie music of Marvin Hamlisch, selections from Ben-Hur by Miklos Rozsa, and selections from The Mission by Ennio Morricone.

The Young People's Chorus of New York City, founded in 1988 by Artistic Director and MacArthur 'genius' Fellow Francisco J. Nuñez on a mission of diversity and artistic excellence, celebrates its next 25 years with a gala benefit concert at Frederick P. On October 24, 2014, The New York Pops - a symphonic orchestra known for presenting popular programs of exceptional quality - will launch its 32nd season, a series at Carnegie Hall celebrating the diversity of some of popular music's greatest icons. Music Director Steven Reineke - described by The New York Times as a "polished, welcoming host" who is "young and vigorous, with a playful attitude" - will lead the orchestra in a highly anticipated concert season, including an opening celebration of The Beatles featuring the Finnish ensemble Rajaton; a festive holiday concert featuring Kelli O'Hara and Matthew Morrison; a solo evening with Broadway leading lady Sutton Foster; and a tribute to Frank Sinatra by four of today's finest entertainers - Tony DeSare, Storm Large, Frankie Moreno and Ryan Silverman.

Formed in Portland, Ore., the 12-member ensemble has been a popular favorite in many countries for more than a decade with its revitalization of vintage Big Band sound, in combination with 1940s jazz, cross-cultural rhythms and much more! The group is known for songs that range from "Je ne veux pas travailler (I don't want to work)," the Doris Day hit "Que Sera, Sera," "Lets Never Stop Falling in Love" and "Hey, Eugene!"
