The Royal Conservatory starts the new Koerner Hall concert season on September 30 by honouring the lives and knowledge of Indigenous peoples with an evening curated by Denise Bolduc, Sarain Fox, and Mervon Mehta.

The Royal Conservatory of Music will open its doors to audiences for the first full concert season since March of 2020.

Drummer Steve Smith will perform at Birdland Jazz Club in New York City for an unprecedented five consecutive weeks with five different groups September 16 through October 16. Smith is known for playing with Jean-Luc Ponty, Journey, Steps Ahead and his own group Steve Smith and Vital Information.

Award-winning composer/clarinetist Sam Sadigursky has announced the release of his latest recording project The Solomon Diaries. Sadigursky was seen onstage in the band of The Band's Visit. He will reunite with the show's star, Katrina Lenk, who is a guest vocalist on the album. Oklahoma! musical director Nathan Koci also appears on the record.

A little nostalgia can be a dangerous thing. After seeing Squeeze live in 1988, I had the chance to see the 1980s New Wave darlings nearly two decades later in Cleveland. I walked away thinking I had just seen one of my favorite bands sucking down the last dregs of their popularity.

Squeeze Official is coming to Hershey Theatre on Friday, August 6, 2021, at 8 p.m. on “The Nomadband Tour.” The concert at Hershey Theatre will be their first time headlining a show at a Hershey venue.
